Dawnkit awoke inside her den, a soft yawn rolling from her chest cavity as she rose to her paws. Her front legs stretched forward, her rump stuck high in the air as her chest was pressed to the ground in a stretch-pose.

He stretched his long forelegs as the morning sun woke him up. He turned his ears back to see if anything was happening, only the few chirps of the morning birds and the light sound of paws. He flicked his tail and looked back at the now waking warriors den, he carefully stepped over them, trying not to wake anyone. Once he got outside he breathed a sigh of relief and sat with his long tail curled over his paws.

He wanted to hunt, but his sprained paw told him that if he tried, he might never get better, he sighed and laid down, his head on his paws as he looked around the busy camp, "I am just another mouth to feed, I will repay them by hunting when this paw is better."
