Frostfern looked around, Rainkit had gone missing. "Rainkit! Rainkit!" She called. She went outside camp, she saw Rainkit laying motionless under a tree, "Rainkit!" She ran over to her, Rainkit twitched, "Momma, I'm ssssooooorrrrryyy! Goodbye." "Rainkit don't say that, you're going to be fine." She picked Rainkit up and brought her to Raincloud, "Raincloud, Rainkit fell out of a tree!" "Oh my! Pass her to me and go look after Lionkit." Frostfern nodded, she got back to Lionkit. Raincloud came back five minutes later, she was carrying a limp, lifeless Rainkit, "I'm so sorry Frostfern, I couldn't do anything for Rainkit, her spine was badly broken, she died of multiple cuts and blood loss." Raincloud nuzzled the young queen. Frostfern cried her heart out, she licked her kit. Raincloud layed the dead body of Rainkit by the nursery. Raincloud sat veil for the kit for ten minutes. Frostfern was constantly licking her kit, in the hope she would be brought back to life. Lionkit nudged his sister, "Momma, why is Rainkit not moving?" He asked, his eyes bright and curious. "S-she is dead, my sweetie, come and sit next to me, sit in slience and pray with me." Lionkit nodded, he looked up at the sky and prayed Rainkit would be safe and happy in Starclan.

Frostfern heared a kit call out, "Raincloud, look after Lionkit, I just heard something." She went into the woods and hadn't gone far when she saw a kit, "Oh, hello, sweetie, where is your mother? Did she leave you here?"

Jewelkit looks up and mews,"My mum left me then I heard a scream.I came looking for her but got lost." Starts to cry.

Honeyfur smiled and looked at the cheering clan. Sparrowtail smiled at her old apprentice.

As she padded to the nursery, she stopped and licked wicketclaw's ear.
"As you are deputy, you lead the clan while I have my kitting," Autumnstar said too Wicketclaw.
She carried on walking to the nursery.
