His slitted teal gaze moved over to Selene. Surely he looked like a girl to her too. The others in Rhosco's pack teased him all the time about it. Near wasn't like that. His short curls said 'boy', not 'girl'.

"You should be glaring at Near, he caused more pain and punishment than anything else." Mello growled softly at Liela. He didn't like how she acted about the albino. All over protective, it got on his nerves and he pelt like kicking her.

Desoto creeped up next to Mello, seating himself next to the other male. He hoped he wouldn't get angry at him, because boy did he scare him when he got mad.
