Nodding, the black Apprentice padded to the fresh-kill pile and scanned over the prey to find something to satisfy her rumbling belly. Eventually, she picked out a starling for herself and stepped off to the side. She settled down on her belly, but glanced up at her mentor, "So what are we going to be doing today?" she asked just before she took a bit out of the bird.

Koiflare couldn't help but fluster slightly as he felt Flashcloud's tail tip flick his nose. Come on, Koiflare, get your act together! You really can't afford to screw up, especially with her here. He thought, shaking his head to ditch the thought in the dust. Sighing as he buried the vole, he padded drowsily after the other Warrior. "Yeah, sure." he murmured in response to her comment.

Wildfire paused, glancing around. "He's by the border." he meowed, padding in that direction. He glanced over his shoulder at Blackpaw and Jadeflower, "Remember to be cautious." he reminded them, even if they didn't need it. Turning his head back around, he continued towards this direction. Whoever it is, let's get this over with.

He met her gaze languidly, whiskers twitching at the scent of prey. "Battle training." Rainstar replied distractedly, already planning their lesson. {WB for him.}

Shooting a sideways glance at Koiflare, she sighed softly. "C'mon, lighten up. You're starting to get me down." Without warning, she flopped down into the grass, lying on her back, paws in the air. "Hey, let's do something fun! We've already hunted. Sorta. And the Clan doesn't need you right now." An insolent smile on her lips, she gazed up at the deputy with liquid golden eyes. "Don't you have time in your busy, busy life to just relax?" Her voice was sarcastic, with a playful undertone.

|Jadeflower and Phantom|
Jadeflower nodded cautiously, unsheathing her claws as she moved forwards, sticking close to Wildfire. Phantom smirked. He was directly above the three cats, and the height would give him an advantage. Yowling a battle cry, he flung himself out of the tree, aiming for Wildfire. Jadeflower jumped, startled, and watched as Phantom missed his target, landing directly besides him. "You don't look like a rogue." she mewed vainly, eyes blinking with surprise. "No kidding?" Glowering at the warriors, the small tom sat up and crouched low, ready to fight.

Midnightpaw nodded, hurrying through her meal so they could get started for the day. Once her bird was finished off, she dug a small hole for the bones and buried them. After that, the ebony she-cat looked up at Silverstar, "Alright, I'm finished, Silverstar." she meowed, flicking her tail back and forth.

Koiflare blinked at her a few times as she rolled over and flopped onto the ground. Relax? Huh, I wish I could. As long as I don't fall asleep again..I think I should be alright. He thought, practically falling onto his belly right beside Flashcloud. He sighed and glanced over at the pretty she-cat. Heck, even when I can hardly think straight, I can still see her as beautiful...Wait what am I thinking? He asked himself, shaking his head.

Wildfire hardly flinched when the Tom landed beside him. That's it? He wondered, his amber eyes glared down at the small Rouge. "Huh, I've had mice bigger than you." he growled, towing over the small cat. He smirked, his sharp fangs glittering as he unsheathed his claws. "Well, runt, this shouldn't take long at all, now should it?" he asked, his muscles rippling under his pelt as he large body shadowed over the Rouge.

|Silverstar|

Silverstar sprang to his paws, long tail flicking back and forth. "Good. Let's go." Without a backward glance, the leader shot out of camp in a sprint, eager to begin the training session. At the moment life was peaceful within the clan, which was good, of course. Yet he couldn't help but feel slightly bored. There wasn't much to do any more, other than patrolling and hunting. Then again, he was new to leading a clan, and would soon become used to the differences. Slowing as he entered the training hollow, Silverstar settled in the middle of the hollow, waiting for his apprentice. It was the little perks like this which kept him entertained.

|Flashcloud|

Training her green eyes on Koiflare, she wondered what he was thinking about. It felt like ages since she'd been alone with him in a moment like this, and suddenly she found herself lost for words. "So ... What are you thinking about right now?" Flashcloud asked curiously, wriggling about on her back, enjoying the feel of the grass stems tickling her back. While she waited for an answer, the warrior studied her companion furtively, realizing how much he changed. It only seemed like moons ago that he was this cute, gangly apprentice, and now he was this stranger to her. A handsome, muscular one at that. Realizing she was beginning to stare, her fur flushed with embarrassment as she shifted her gaze away from Koiflare and watched the clouds, studying each shape in her mind.


|Jadeflower and Phantom|

"Wildfire, why don't we just leave him alone? Honestly, he's practically a kit!" Ignoring the rogue's muffled protest, she gazed up at the warrior besides her. "He won't do any harm." Shifting her weight from paw to paw, she glanced at Phantom. "We could take him to Silverstar. Who knows, maybe he would make a good apprentice?" she mused, half to herself.

//Midnightpaw

Midnightpaw smiled and hurried after her mentor. The feel of the breeze as it whistled in her ears the ruffled her fur with each long stride that she took. Her paws pounded lightly against the ground, kicking up fallen leaves and dust as she swiftly moved throughout the trees, weaving through them like a snake. Once she reached the training hollow, she was panting at this point. Shaking her head, she padded up to Silverstar and sat down in front of him, "Ready."

Koiflare let his thoughts drift away like the clouds above as he looked tiredly over Flashcloud; just barely catching a glimpse of the fluster she carried. I wonder what that was all about. He thought. "Oh, nothing. Just...Clan stuff." he lied, which probably shone easily with how exhausted he was. Sighing, he rolled over onto his side, but still faced his old friend. Things were so much easier when we were Apprentices. Why can't it be like that now? Well that's obvious. At this point, things have changed. No...feelings have changed.

Wildfire sheathed his claws and stood up straight, looking over the Rouge before them. "Are you sure? I don't know if Silverstar will like that we brought a Rouge back to camp with us." he meowed, looking back at Phantom then back to Jadeflower.

When Midnightpaw finally came into view, Silverstar rose to his paws. "Okay, show me what we've learnt so far, and then I'll teach you some new tactics." {WB for him. x.x}

.Flashcloud.

A pang went through her as she noticed just how exhausted he was. Suddenly she felt bad, all the work she did each day was nothing compared to his responsibilities. Sighing, she rolled onto her side so that she was facing him too. "Hey, are you okay?" Arching an eyebrow, she lowered her head against the soft turf. "Is there anything you want to talk to me about?" Realizing how formal she sounded, Flashcloud frowned, wondering what she could do to change their relationship, to make things less awkward between them. Spontaneously, she reached forwards and touched her nose to his, trying to seem friendlier. No. Now it's even more awkward. Blushing furiously, she shifted away slightly so that there was more distance between them.

.Phantom.

"Could you not speak about me as if I'm not here? I have feelings, you know. Besides, you can't just assume I want to join your awesome Clan." His voice oozing venom and sarcasm, the small rogue rose to his paws, brushing dust and moss off his black pelt. "But, eh, I'll give it a go. It can't hurt, right? Just don't try and jump me, or anything." he added, eyeing Wildfire with apprehension.

Midnightpaw nodded, backing up a bit so she'd have more room to show off what she knew so far. Taking a deep breath, the ebony she-cat looked up and noticed a leaf falling from above. Okay. Focus on that leaf. She told herself and bunched up her muscles. She leapt up at the leaf and swatted it down with her paw swiftly. Once she pinned it to the ground, she moved her paw and saw that it was torn in half.

"I don't rea-" he meowed, but stopped when Flashcloud pressed her nose to his. A large fluster formed in his cheeks as he stared at her, now wide awake. What...what did she do that for? She's can't possibly...no...she doesn't have those types of feelings for me. I know that for sure. He thought, still staring at her. "I uh..uh.." he stammered, but was at a loss for words.

|Wildfire|

Wildfire glared at Phantom and huffed, "Calm down, runt, I'm not going to do anything. Unless of course, you provoke me." he growled, turning around to pad back to camp. "Keep an eye on him." he told Jadeflower and Blackpaw before he continued to pad back to camp.

.Silverstar.

He studied his apprentice, watching the way she moved and attacked the leaf. "Very good." he praised, flicking his tail to and fro. "But next time you might want to move a little bit quicker. In a battle, your opponent won't wait for you to get a move in. Now, show me a battle move you could use when challenging a warrior who is larger than you." Rising to his paws, he dropped into a crouch, his sharp gaze focused on Midnightpaw.

.Flashcloud.

Watching him stammer made the young she-cat blush even more. "I - I didn't mean it." she stammered, pushing herself up and tearing her gaze from is. "This was a mistake. I shouldn't have come. Just forget about this, okay? It never happened." A steely edge in her voice, she sprang to her paws and dug up her prey, before turning away and sprinting back to camp. I'm a fool. Why did I do that? Now he's probably got the wrong idea, that I like him or something. Ugh. All I want is to go back to the way things were before. But now I've ruined everything. Way to go, Flashcloud. She slowed to a walk, feeling more confused than anything. Letting out a bitter sigh, she hesitated by the entrance of camp, then gazed around and crouched low, crawling under a bush. She couldn't face her clanmates at the moment. I have to wait for Koiflare to come back, and just try to explain.

.Phantom.

Eyes flashing with anger, he stomped after Wildfire, much to the amusement of Jadeflower and Blackpaw. Lengthening his stride to keep up with the others, the small rogue pushed up besides Wildfire. "So, what's your Clan like?" He asked curiously, arching an eyebrow. {WB}

Midnightpaw grinned, falling into a pouncing position and staring at her mentor. As much as she did try, she truly couldn't remember how to preform that move. She didn't want Silverstar to think that she was incapable, so instead she dashed to his side and veered left to aim at him and hope to knock him over.

Koiflare sprang to his paws as Flashcloud took off, his expression dulling to sadness and his body becoming heavy all at once. I was a fool to ever think that we had something more. I should just face facts. Our friendship thinned when I became Deputy and now this. This just broke it and threw it away. Things between us...I don't think they'll ever be the same. He thought despairingly. His gaze and tail both dropped down to the ground as he slowly began to make his way back to camp. He didn't want to talk to Flashcloud, nor did he even want to see her at this point in time.

Wildfire huffed and glanced down at the Rogue, "You'll see when you get there." he growled, not really in the mood to talk to the Tom right now. All he wanted to do was go home and tear apart of thrush or a rabbit or something.
