Judaric soon found his search was fruitless, and returned to camp, where wolves were bustling about, their faces frowning with worry in these hard times. He slunk through the crowd, searching for Freya. He would have to discuss it alone with her, then.

Ravarica nodded her bloodied muzzle, signalling it was alright for the warrior to say her words.

Sasha healed many more wolves doing the minor ones first. They would be quickest and it would leave her more time for the more injured. sHe went over to a wolf with deep gashes along his side. Quickly she tried her best to dress the wound and prevent infection but he seemed weak and didn't know is the owlf would make it. It was a daunting task but she needed to go through it. In medicine you would never be sure if a wolf would be strong and get though or if they would faulter and die. Her work was difficult. She was only i her pack for a few minutes but yet she seemed to have already grown attached to it. She talked to some of teh wolves and gave them company while helping them. She learned more about the pack as she did so.

It also loves a paradox. For example, it has some extremely strict rules.

Rule number one: Nothing lasts forever.
Not you or your family or your house or your planet or the sun. It is an absolute rule. Therefore when someone says that their love will never die, it means that their love is not real, for everything that is real dies.

Rule number two
: Everything lasts forever.

((Thank you!))

Kai limped through the trees, alone. She was tired, and she hurt. the gash in her leg was swollen, and the rips along her underside blazed with pain with every step. She had to find some herbs to prevent infection, and stop the bleeding. She hadn't slept well last night, after the battle. After everyone else had left she had found her way to a small stream, instead of following them, and washed her wounds in the icy water. That had helped the swelling then, but it had returned. She snarled at shadows, and laughed at the whispers of the breeze. She was having a bad day, and was only morning.

Hellfire blew out a puff of air, relieved, then said, "I think we should lay low for a while. I don't know for sure, but I don't think that the White Kizis are aware of just how many of us they killed, or how badly we're injured. If we stay small, make no ripples in the water, maybe we can lure them into thinking they've won the battle and come out on top. They won't be expecting a night ambush on their camp when all of us are fully health again."

Freya watches the new healer work her way around the med den. She knew that some of the pack weren't going to last but she could see that this new she-wolf was doing her best and was very good at what she did. A content sigh escaped her mouth as she put her head down on her paws watching the now more calm bustle of the packs movements.

Kai was busy arguing with the grasshopper on her shoulder when she ran into a tree. "Ow." She said, glaring at the tree. She shook her head, rattling all the voices in there and making them complain, and went around the tree. There was some borage growing in the shade of the tree, thank goodness, and she quickly grabbed a mouthful and took it back to the stream. She took a swig of water, and slowly let it dribble onto the leaves as she mashed them against the rock, making a rough poultice to apply to her wounds.

Judaric barked Freya's name, was she still at the healer's den? or had she moved? He couldn't see her through this thick crowd of wolves.

Ravarica's eyes narrowed, then fell silent. "If that is the case, you are in charge of this operation.... you must order the wolves beside me, and go over battle techniques and how we shall react if they wake up in time to see us." satisfied with her answer, she ripped out a bone at long last.

Kai looked at her 'masterpiece' in disgust. No wolf liked having anything smeared through their fur, but this was necessary. And it was starting to feel better already, she noticed with some relief. She got up slowly, and sighed carefully, cautious of the tears in her hide. Time to get back to camp, she thought reluctantly. There were always too many wolves there, and she wasn't much of one for crowds; she had a big enough one in her mind. She made her way through the trees towards camp though, and tried to hide her limp. It's not like they wont notice the green mush in your fur, she told herself, but ignored her own mental comment.

Deciding to look in the Med.Den and escape from the chaos outside, Judaric slipped in, to see Freya and Sasha. "Did I miss anything important?" he asked, looking around at the wolves lining the walls. They seemed content. Sasha's healing methods had obviously worked.
