Koda looked over at the German shepherd. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. He just twisted my ear a little. I'm Koda. Who're you?" He asked nicely.

Kira wimpered to herself, and heard two dogs fighting in another cage. a human passed, and i growled at it. the dog beside me collapsed, and stopped breathing. the human stopped too, and opened the cage door. i bounded out, and the human was chasing me, and yelling frantically. i thought i was safe, until they got the gun. I yelped in pain, they had shot me in the ear, blood pouring down my face. I stopped, but they caught up, and lifted me to another cage, but none of the dogs were dead.

Valley awoke to a shake "Hey stop it.PUT ME DOWN"Valley snarled and barked at the human but the human didn't listen.the human let her out and started hitting her with a stick she ran over to a bunch more dogs "Dose anybody here know were we are i am tired of these people hitting me"Valley said looking at Koda when she saw him she calmed down she was in love with Koda "you Husky what is your name"Valley said to him she knew it but wanted to know it again.

Lola gazed at Koda with her large amber eyes. Maybe it wasn't that hard to meet friends as she thought! "I am Lola, nice to meet you Koda!" When Valley came over, Lola's ears quickly went back and she stood fragily.

Jess looked at Kira, scared. 'The Gun...' he thought. He barked to Kira, trying to call her to him for safety.

Kira glanced around, and saw so many other dogs! She approached the corner, and saw a lonely-looking dashund (sorry if i didnt spell tht right, im on my phone.) "hi." she said carefully. she heard the dog bark for her, and trotted over there.

Valley looked at Lola"Hi I'm Valley,whats your name!"Valley said Very kind but knew Lola was Afraid"Are you scared of me?"Valley asked she wanted to know.

"Hi Lola and Valley, nice to meet you all. I just wish we had met under better circumstances." Koda said and sighed.

[dooze]

"I can barely trust anyone, I'm sorry, Valley." the German shepherd sighed. "I've had a tough past, I guess." Her tail came out from in between her legs but she still remained wary of the dogs.

Jess trotted over to Kira. "Are you all right?" he asked. "I saw what they did to you... I'm so sorry. It was very brave of you."

"What do you mean and do you wanna be my friend i Really like you Koda,I think your pretty!"Valley said in a sweet voice.
"Do you also wanna be my friend Lola!"Valley said in a very sweet voice.
