Nova padded around a small tree looking at the snake coiled in the branches. She began to bat at it. "Come here little guy!" She said as the snake began to hiss. Nova giggled and batted it harder. It striked at Nova and missed by and inch. She gulped and then started to move away from it. It dropped from the tree and began slithering twards her. Nova knew this snake was not playing. She ran over to a small rock and sat on it observing the snake from a further distance. She screamed as a little corn snake was draped over her head. She looked behind her and saw Serena on her back laughing. "THAT WAS NOT FUNNY!!!" Nova yelled as her blue eyes gleamed in the sun.

Sahara laughed as she padded up to the other two lionesses with her cub, Ugatu, at her side. "Come now Nova, it's just a little game.", Sahara stoped laughing but continued to grin. The'n she looked at Serena, "You're going to make her mad you know." Ugatu bounced around his mother's paws, "Mother can we go hunting now? Please?" Sahara looked at her young cub shaking her head laughing, "Ugatu...lionesses do the hunting. I have brought you along to show you the land Sun Pride calls home.", the lioness corrected the cub. "Oh ok.", the male cub's tail dropped slightly.

Kiongozi opened his eyes and looked around the large cave that Sun Pride called home. He noticed that three of the four lionesses and the only cub were missing. This didn't really bother the king though, since he knew the missing members of the pride. Knowing them Kiongozi figured that they were out hunting....or at least may be Sahara was walking around with her son. Kiongozi stood and glanced at Maua. Then he left the cave and walked outside to the Great Rock.

Nova nodded and looked at Serena. She yawned and sprawled out on the rock. "Stupid corn snake..." she said as she batted it off the rock. She looked down at the young cub. Then looking back up at Sahara, "You know I think we could just take him on a little hunt? Ya know...just let him catch a bunny or something?" Nova said as the little cub dropped his tail. Serena stayed quiet and looked at Ugatu. "Yeah I agree with Nova!" Serena said as she sprung up. "That is if it is okay with you, after all he is your son but still I think it would be fun for him just to go and try hunting." Serena said with a smile. She noticed the small shape on the Great Rock, "It must be Kiongozi..." Nova said to Serena. She had also noticed the small shape on the rock.

Sahara sighed before looking from the two lionesses to her cub. It really wasn't what male lions did but...she thought why not? Besides it would do Ugatu good to see how the lionesses work anyway. Not to mention it was a great opportunity to show him the lands the Sun Pride called home at any rate. She looked back at the two lionesses, "Well I sappose it wouldn't hurt.", she smiled. Ugatu leapt for joy, "Yeah!" Kiongozi could see four spots down below on the Sun Prides lands. And it didn't take him long to agree that it was Sahara, Nova, Serena and Ugatu. He could tell members of the pride from others easily.
