Elemental Wolf Pack (Accepting)

Uneasy and uncertain, Kaluar pricked his ears and sat down as well when he heard the familiar rustle of leaves. "How many of you are here right now?" he asked the other wolf, trying to hide his confusion. He was at a disadvantage and he knew it, and the fear of that made him more prickly than usual. The warm tone the wolf was using with him now even more so, and he braced himself for a sneak attack.

Chiron looked about then quickly turned back to the wolf. "Just me and the lovely little lady Ayria. As far as I know. Dont worry, I wont let anyone nip at ya." Chiron stepped back into a shadow, his body syphoning into it. He reappeared at the new wolves side. "I'm Chiron, and who are you?"

Kaluar jumped and backed away, his hackles raised as Chiron appeared next to him suddenly. "Stop that!" he snapped unintentionally. He gave himself a mental shake. 'That must be what happened earlier. I thought it was many wolves at once, but perhaps it was just his particular gift. He must be a shadow wolf....' Kaluar raised his head, getting a good sense of the other wolves scent. It held a slightly muskier scent than most and he sneezed. 'Ive never met one of them before.' he thought to himself. 'Only heard stories from the elders.'

"So come on pup." nagged Chiron,"What is your name? I'm pretty sure you dont want me callin' ya pup now do ya? Although its a nasty habit of mine seeing as your all a whole lot smaller than me." he laughed. "Like I said, I'm Chiron. Shadow wolf, but dont let that deter ya. We're a whole lot sweeter than we seem. I mean, sure darkness is are thing, but hey, the dark can get pretty scary, so we are usually big old softies. Until you get on our bad side." he added grimely. "But that doesn't matter, me and my rambling, back to the start, what's your name?"

Ayria streached her wings and glided over to the the wolves. She knew it would have been easier to walk, but not flying for a couple days sure had made her wings stiff. She wondered what the blind wolf's name was, as he still hadn't said it.

Kaluar pricked his ear at the other wolves voice and heard the fluttering of wings. 'That one... female. She can fly...' he thought to himself as he sat down again, wary. "My name is Kaluar." he murmured, his ears flicking in every direction as he tried to keep up with the sounds in the forest. Now that the immediate danger seemed to be over, he needed to make sure nothing else sprang up on him. "I wasnt trying to intrude on anyone's territory by the way. Im just looking for a safe place to stay."

"You might be able to stay with us" Ayria said tentatively. "I'm the beta, and I'm pretty sure that our alfa would allow you to join." She sat down on a pile of leaves and looked to Chiron to see if he agreed.

"Well of course she'd aceept ya. She accepted me after all." he nudged up against the wolf to give a reasurring feeling. "I mean, we could use a healer. And hey, no hard feelings. I mean, not like you ate someone." he joked.

Kaluar began to relax a bit, pricking his ears in an almost friendly way. "I... do you really think so?" he asked, still a bit uncertain. Where all wolves this friendly to strangers? Well, other than the showoff they just had and all. He shook his head, not use to being in a constant state of confusion.

"Of course!" Ayria said cheerfully. "We only have one healer, so it will be great to have another."
