Kodiak looked up again to see the other dog better. She was a lot smaller than him, but she wasn't a little dog. "It's alright with me. There's enough to go around." He replied.

June, dwarfed by the other dog, smiled and ate a piece of a pizza crust. "You're from around here?" She asked, digging around.

[windyboy]

"Yeah, I grew up on the streets. You?" Kodiak said, sniffing the pile. He found an unrecognizable piece of meat and chewed it up, then laid down.

[Nuregami]

"Raised by humans and dashed out one day-" June said still digging "Best day of my life." She huffed, not finding anything. She turned towards the brute and sat. "And you are, by the way?"

"I'm Kodiak. Never liked humans much. In fact, I absolutely hate them. Who are you?" Kodiak replied, then sat up on his haunches. He wasn't that hungry anymore. He had eaten a cat for breakfast.

June smiled, and extended her paw. "I'm Juniper." She said introducing herself. "Or June for short; either way."

"Nice to meet you June." Kodiak said, flicking his ears. Another dog came out from around the corner cautiously, it's ribs showing through it's matted pelt. Kodiak growled and his neck fur rose. "Back off, this food is taken!" He barked.The other dog scrambled away quickly. Kodiak turned back to June. "Now, where were we?"

June watched the malnourished stray scramble away and looked back at Kodiak. "Why so territorial over this one? I could be an intruder as well." She questioned, wrapping her tail around her feet.
