To the Last Blood (Wolf RP **dead**)

Mage was surprised, he'd lived in these mountains most of his life and never knew of the den. "WAIT!" He called out, but the male, who he guessed must be Alfa had disappeared. He looked at those standing at the top with him. For a moment he just stared at Krri, Neko, Zekki, and Silence, then blurted, "Who ARE you!?!" Even as the words were leaving his mouth, different thoughts were weaving themselves in his head. He not only wanted to know who they were, he wanted to join them. He wanted to be a part of something bigger, a member of a pack.

Kazuo was still in the shadows near by. He knew that if the pup wanted to find him bad enough he would try to track him. Kazuo was counting on this. He was testing the youngsters to see how far they could go. He could see that they had the will to make it but did they have the courage and strength to pursue. Could they prove themselves? This is what Kazuo was waiting to see.

Mage shook his head in frustration, *What am I doing!?* He thought. *I shouldn't be questioning these wolves, not now anyway.* He briefly made eye contact with Krri, the meteor shower was beginning, then turned around and walked off. *I should leave, right now, and never come back* He thought, but found his paws taking him in another direction, and his nose pressing closer and closer to the dirt. Before he knew it, Mage was following the scent of the mysterious male. His ears perked up every time he heard a meteor come close enough the mountain to light it up, but he continued on, becoming more and more aware that the meteors were coming closer and closer to actually striking the mountain. He paused, almost afraid he would find the Alfa, and went a little further, careful now to step quietly, for the scent was getting strong.

Alamader
Beta Male - Siberian Husky

"But, My Lady -" He started in panic when she told him to search outside the cave. He wanted to protest that his scent was still inside, when a familiar voice sounded in the form of a high pup's voice. Alamader spun around to see Hiroki pull himself from a badger set and look around in confusion. "Oh, thank the gods you're safe!" The Beta couldn't help but blurt in a painfully obviously relieved voice. He dashed over and sniffed the cub over to make sure he was unharmed. "Why were you hiding? I thought someone had come into the den and snatched you up! What happened to the wolf guarding the entrance last I was here?" He asked, but then dismissed it. He was just happy the youngster was looking fine.

When Hiroki asked what was happening, though, Alamader hesitated, not wanting to scare him. He glanced at Lona briefly, seeing if it was alright if he briefed in the situation. Then he realized how pointless it would be to tell the cub a stranger was on the land. "Nothing happened." He lied, though he sounded very convincing. "I just didn't see a guard and came looking for you." He smiled sheepishly and wagged his tail.

'That's it boy. Follow your nose.' Kazuo thought to himself as he watched the boy follow his trail from a ledge that was just a few feet higher then the youngsters head. His fur still blended with the night and he could only bee seen when a meteor was close to the mountain. It illuminated his onyx fur against the dark stones of the mountain. Not even Kazuo's white eyes betrayed his position since they were closed now. He was listening to the pup's paw steps now as they grew closer.

"I don't know where he went. But I wasn't hiding. I was chasing." he grinned and pulled a rabbit from the badger hole. Hiroki growled lightly "Your lie-ing." he scowled. He layed down and crossed his paws like Kazuo always did when he was thinking.

Krii held eye contact with the male for a second as he looked, about to answer when he trotted away. Krii was surprised to find there were at least two other wolves on the top now, other than her and Neko. "W-wait!" Neko called quietly as the other dog left. He enjoyed Krii's company, but now that he knew there were other wolves alive he didn't want to be alone anymore. Krii's eyes flashed white for a second as the meteor shower began. "They're.... going to hit the mountain," she said with a bit of alarm, wondering if Mage had known that; maybe that's why he had left. Seeing a shooting star hit the Earth at the base of the mountain, she decided this wasn't a safe place anymore. Pulling Neko, she turned to go but was facing the other unknown wolves now. Not really willing to trust them, she backed away, turning and going with Neko in the general direction Mage had gone. Right now she wasn't consciously following him, she simply wanted to get her and Neko to a safe place before she would think about all the other wolves currently nearby. "I bet there's a cave somewhere...." she mumbled, looking around as they trotted.

Kazuo heard the other two pups following after Mage. He was listening to them as they drew closer and closer wondering if they would pick up on his sent like the young male did. Of if they would keep looking for a cave and get too close to his pack's den. 'What will you do pup?' he thought about how Alamader would react to them showing up at the den without warning. 'That wouldn't be good, They might get killed' he thought to himself as he heard them grow closer.

[Hour Glass]

Lona smiled, "nice job little one, you will make a fine hunter" she said. She then perked her head up, alert, "there are others getting close" she said. She turned to the beta, "Get the pups into the den and guard it with your life" she commanded.

Mage sniffed along, coming closer and closer to the rock. He looked up, but couldn't see Kazuo. The smell on the rock was so fresh, *He must be right there!* Mage thought excitedly, and scrambled to climb up onto the rock. Just then a meteor came down fast, hitting a mountain close by and sending up a cloud of debris. Startled, Mage jumped and bolted forward, running right into Kazuo.

Beta Male - Siberian Husky

"Very good catch!" He complimented, trying to ignore the fact that the pup had pointed out he was lying. He shifted uncomfortably, and the inside of the cave flashed white for a split second, before going dark. The Beta Male looked outside to see stars falling from the sky. There was a boom, but he didn't flinch. He'd lived on these mountains for his whole life, and he knew that the stars would fall into the mountain, but he wouldn't run, as he knew they wouldn't hurt their den.

Suddenly stiffening, he caught wind of Kazuo and...other canines! He growled fiercely and got to his feet, raising his hackles and snarling at the entrance to the cave, about to move protectively in front of Lona, when he heard her bark an order. Freezing, he looked at her in shock, or was it more along the lines of pleading? He wanted to fight off these unknown wolves! But for the second time in a row, loyalty sized his brain, and he relaxed his shoulders and bowed his head. "Yes, My Lady." He said flatly and turned to Hiroki, nudging him with his muzzle in the direction of the back of the cave, where some smaller tunnels cut off into the nursery.
