Totemstar padded into the medicine cat's den "Anything to report?" he meowed, hoping for some sign to tell him who the Deputy should be.

Mouse-eye nodded and stood up from the den. He walked out of the Warrior's den and asked. "Did you need me for something?" He asked.

Fernpaw

Fernpaw flicked her tail lazily and rolled onto her side by the apprentice den. Blinking the sleep away from her smoky blue eyes, the apprentice splayed out her paws in front of her in a luxurious stretch with a trembling effort. Gazing around the camp, with her head now on her paws, and now rolled onto stomach, Fernpaw wondered when she could go out of camp. She closed her eyes in a light dose in camp.

Leafgaze

Leafgaze turned to looked at his leader with truth in his eyes. "Yes, actually. I was going to tell you about my dream I had last night after I was done sorting herbs." The medicine cat meowed, flicking his tail. Sitting down, Leafgaze looked into his leader's eyes. "I woke up in the forest, and mist was everywhere," He explained, paused, then went on, "A cat was in front of me, a white cat, with pure green eyes. But it wasn't from StarClan, it's someone from out clan. It was hard to see her - or him, through the mist, but then the cat disapeared, and a feather lay where her paws used to be." Leafgaze reported, and then continued: "Then, I saw another cat; my mother I think; Flowerwish. She said for Totemstar to figure this out, and that this cat is right for the job. She said the mist was a sign, and so was tthe feather. But then dawn appeared in my dream, so then I woke up." The medicine cat finished.

Totemstar nodded "Mistfeather and Dawnfeather? Ugh. Why do I always get stuck with the hard choices?" he chuckled.

Sunfyre lead the patrol of hunters out of camp.

Talonpaw looked around for something to do.

Nightpaw

Nightpaw nodded, backing up out of the warrior's way. "Yes, Mistfeather's organizing a border patrol. He wants you, Dawnfeather and me to go." The apprentice explained what his mother had said to him. "Looking around he called, "We're done!" and bounded over to where Mistfeather was, ears pricked as she talked to Dawnfeather.

Leafgaze

Leafgaze nodded, rolling his eyes. "But, go with your heart, sir. You`ll choose the right cat for deputy, everyone knows it." The medicine cat`s eyes glittered in understanding. "Mistfeather would do anything for the position," He chuckled and added, "She would scare off a twoleg if she needed, and Dawnfeather, I don`t know about her, but any cat, beyond her is good." Leafgaze purred in amusement.

Totemstar nodded "Thanks, Leafgaze." he padded out of the medicine cat den and went to his own den to think.

Stonefur had followed Sunfyre and the others for the patrol. He had easily found a rabbit munching carefully onto a carrot. He stook onto a hunting crouch. His tail was still as an stick to make sure he wouldn't make a sound. He carefully moved anouther paw step. He pounced on the rabbit easily. He bit his fangs into it and stood up with the rabbit dangling from his jaws.
