Starpool watched with wide eyes as the two cats disappeared.

Flyleaf's image disappeared and her body was cold and lifeless.

Eagleshadow picked up a mouse, and took it to Spottedheart.

Antkit felt a sudden pain. (Just as Antfur left with Flyleaf.)

Starpool

Starpool looked down at Flyleaf's body and she frowned. She walked out of the den and yowled out to the clan, "Flyleaf is dead!" Tears began to form in her eyes.

Wolfheart

Wolfheart looked at Antfur as he came back to Starclan with Flyleaf. "Welcome Flyleaf." he smiled at the she-cat.

Flyleaf

Flyleaf looked at Wolfheart and smiled. "Wolfheart!" she purred and touched her nose to his ear, "The whole clan was so sad when they found out you were dead."

Wolfheart

Wolfheart purred. "I know, but I'm ok now." He looked at Antfur with a smile.

Antfur winked at the warrior. His image was much fainter than the others... He wondered if that made him ay different. That's crazy. they love you for who you are. Just as he was abotu to say something, three black and white bundles threy themselves at their almost trasnparent father. The black tom purred and looked up to see his mate.

Adderstar dropped the vole he was carrying, his jaw jung open. "No!" He yowled and ran over to Starpool. "Tell me you're lying. Please." Tears filled his eyes and threatened to spill.

Starpool

Starpool looked at her leader, tears began to fall down her cheeks. "I'm sorry Adderstar, but I'm not..." She stepped aside to let the tom into the elders' den.

Flyleaf

Flyleaf looked at the three kits and smiled. "So these are your kits?" She sat down and watched them.

Wolfheart

Wolfheart laughed as he saw the kits attack Antfur.

Eagletalon

Eagletalon walked out of the warriors' den, wondering what the commotion was all about.

Spottedheart

Spottedheart heard Adderstar yowl "No!" and she wondered what happened.

Adderstar stumbled into the elders den. "Flyleaf?" He whispered. She had been his mentor and great friend.

Eagleshadow rested his tial on his mate's shoulders. "It's Flyleaf...

Antkit's heart thumped, then the pain eventually faded.

"Yes. This isTawnykit." He pointed to his smallest daughter. She was a faint tawny colored she-cat with white and black markings. "This is Frostkit." He beckened tword his largest son. He was all white with a black patch on his back. "And this..." He sighed. "This is Flykit." Antfur stepped out of the way to show a normal sized kit with black and white patches all over.

Starpool

Starpool went in after her leader and frowned. "She's gone to Starclan Adderstar.."

Flyleaf

Flyleaf looked at the three kits and frowned. "Their all so young... How did they come here?"

Spottedheart

Spottedheart looked at Eagleshadow with sorrow in her eyes. "She's.... dead?"

Cherryfeather sighed as she walked towars the western border.

Eagleshadow nodded grimly.

He cringed. "It was so cold... They were so weak... With no mother to care for them, or any other queens to help..." He sighed as Daisypelt wraped her tail around her kits. "It was my fault." She whispered.

Adderstar colapsed beside her body and wept.

Spottedheart

Spottedheart's eyes began to water. "No..." She got up and quickly went out of the den. She ran to the elders' den and saw Adderstar and Starpool by Flyleaf's cold, lifeless body. Tears began to fall from her eyes and she crouched by Adderstar, pressing her face into Flyleaf's fur. Flyleaf had been like a mother to Spottedheart and was always there for her.

Otterkit

Otterkit looked up at her father when Spottedheart left. "Where did mommy go?"

Fernkit

Fernkit slept curled up next to Otterkit, her breathing was weird and ragged.

Flyleaf

Flyleaf looked at Daisypelt and shook her head. "It's not your fault." She sat by the she-cat and tried to comfort her.

Wolfheart

Wolfheart watched them with sorrow in his eyes. He will never get to know what it's like to have a family of his own.
