"Swankit is still shaken from the stream and the others are still frightened but they are heathy." She mewed

"Good." Adderstar said, and watched as the kits played with eachother. "I noticed that Briarkit is a bit timid." He pointed out.

"yes," She said "He is but the more he is in the nursery the calmer he is." She mewed. "although I dont remember how I got this scar on my maw" she said looking down at her muzzle cross eyes.

Adderstar chuckled. "I'm sure it was just an old wound that you've never noticed before..." He lied. "Now how about you get something to eat? The kits can try fresh-kill too."

She nodded "How about a rabbit?" she said and jumped down. She grabbed two rabbits. She brought one up to him and laid it on the ground She jumped back down and padded over to the kits and laid down next to them. "come eat" She mewed to them, Swankit staggered over with Hawkkit behind her

Tinykit bounced up and leaped over. Briarkit followed behind.

Adderstar smiled and took a bit of the prey.

"tinykit calm down" She mewed licking tinykits head. "Try a bit of the rabbit see how you like it because you cant live off of milk forever" she mewed and took a bite of prey.

Briarkit took a more timid bite. He made a funny face.
