Kate went to his other side and tried to help him up. "My bad." She whimpered. "Did I hurt you bad??" she asked sniffing him all over and licking his paw. "I'm very sorry...guess I got ahead of myself.." She barked. ((Are they outside??)) "Com`on. I gotta get you inside." She yipped She didn't want to push him, and get him muddy. Or drag him, and hurt him even more. She slumped...not knowing what to do. She ran for the dor and stood on her hind legs and pawed and scratched for herself to be let in. She heard the grumpy farmer. When the door opened in tiny crack she dashed in. "You guys! I was running and I ran directly in Kodi. His paws hurts and maybe even where me head butted him in the side. He's stuck out in the rain and I need some help to get him back inside, warm and safe. she saw Rex. "Oh, um.." she blushed. "Hi, Rex.." Turned gave one swift wag to Rex and bounded out the door back into the rain. She stood over Kodi. Her tail wagging limply. She sighed.

Kate looked around. She laid down by Kodis back. She softly put her head on his side and her each of her front paws by her head. She sighed. She knew she wasn't warm enought to keep Kodi warm, but she had to try.
