Heatherpaw jumped up and down, excitedly calling out her sister's new name. "Pebblepaw! Pebblepaw!" Though she was still trying to understand clan traditions, she knew this must be something of great importance. Pebblepaw wasn't just any apprentice, she knew that.

Slivertooth stepped back, making room for Sunlight to greet her new apprentice. His heart contracted in his chest at the sight of Pebblepaw, the previous moons of glowering hatefulness ripped from her features. Now here she stood, proudly infront of what would one day be her Clan.

Pebblekit couldnt hear the clans cheers over the roar of her own heart beat stepping forward she licked sunlight's shoulder respectfully and steped back staring up at here mentor- her insides churning with nerves and she was slightly dizzy, pebblekit was good at hiding her emotions though so all that showed on her face was pride, right then she made a oath to always be the best medicine cat she could be for her clan.

Sunlight smiled at her apprentice, eyes shining with pride, despite her anger. "I'm ecstatic to have you as my apprentice." She touched noses with her Pebblepaw *Cough cough* Again *Cough Cough*. She then stepped back to look at Slivertooth. "Slivertooth, I think it's time for another important ceremony, if you've made your choice of course." She hoped he understood what she was implying.

Slivertooth gave a curt nod, suddenly more aware the ever, the presence of what was now, or very soon to be, his Clan. I remember when it was only the three of us. Sunlight, Silverwing and I. But now Silverwing's dead. And I'm standing where she should be right now. Slivertooth took a deep breath, his chest shuddering with the waves of emotion coursing through him. To the Clan, the ceremony would seem like just that, a ceremony. But to Slivertooth, it meant oh so much more. It symbolized what was lost, and from that loss, what was to gain. Despite the constant death toll, and threat of BoneClan pressing ever closer, StoneClan had survived, despite the odds, and grown even stronger from it. "This is a ceremony that should have been done long ago. WillowStar and Silverwing's deaths have affected us all, and have both greatly uprooted the destiny of StoneClan. Yet here I am, preforming a ceremony that I never got to experience myself. One that I hope the future leader of StoneClan get's to pass down to their deputy, after I've joined StarClan's ranks. I know you all miss our beloved leaders and clanmates, but I hope my choice in StoneClan's leadership will help us all to realize the good that has come out of this. And the strength we possess to survive. So I say these words infront of StarClan, and hope that they hear and approve my choice. The new deputy of StoneClan will be Blackthorn."
