Echosong sat next to her mate. "Flame, I'm pregnant," she whispered with a smile.

"Flamewhisker's going to be so proud!" Scorchblaze exclaimed, a small fire burning in his eyes at the prospect of what was soon to come. "An Uncle..wow! I just hope one day I'll be the one having kits of my own, you know?" Once again he thought of the small wriggling bodies of newborn kits. The soft downy texture of their fur...But it would never happen.

pebblekit ignored the sarcasum "i do" she mewed with out hesitation, slowing down her flicking tail she nodded determined that though she might not be the most likable - she was going to be the best medicine cat. she forgot what she had went through waiting for her apprentice name as she lifted her head proudly and stiffend her spine, she would try to make this work, she really would.

Sunlight stepped forward, reassured by her apprentice's certainty. "Are you sure?" She whispered so only the she-cat could hear, hesitating slightly as they prepared to touch noses. "I have complete faith in you, but this is a big step." She didn't want the she-cat to believe she doubted her, and she didn't regret accepting her own medicine cat vow for a moment, but there were times when it had become harder than she'd ever imagined it could.

pebblekit nodded. this was the one thing she was sure about "yes" she said quietly. she was going to do, its what she was born to do pebblekit; she never considered the life of a warrior. taking a deep breath "yes, dont worry i can handle it" she whispered to sunlight but said it more to reasure herself.

Slivertooth observed the whispered conversation between Sunlight and Pebblekit. And right then, he knew, without a trace of doubt in his mind, that Pebblekit was infact, born to do this. No other cat fit the description of medicine cat better then Pebblekit herself. She'd waited far beyond the necessary amount of time for her name. And she sure as heck deserved it. "Then by the power vested in me, I name you Pebblepaw. May StarClan look down on you to hear my words. I believe we both know, you'll be one of the strongest medicine cats StoneClan has ever known." He leaned down to touch noses with Pebblepaw, giving her his silent congratulations. She's all grown up now, our little, or what used to be little, Pebblekit. She was the closest thing he had to kits, and it pained him to see her grow up so fast.

Scorchblaze's eyes clouded for a moment. "Yeah, one day I guess." He trailed off, lost in a sudden wave of thought. Was Shadowpaw the one cat he wanted to spend the rest of his life with? He'd only met her a few times and yet, he couldn't seem to get her beaming face out of his head.

Stoatkit sat behind the nursery listening. "They've started the ceremony, now let's go." The dark brown and white tabby mummbled to iin his brother's ear. Otterkit nodded. "Alright," He whispered. "We'll take this way." Like twin shadows the the two crept as stealthily as they could, though Otterkit was often distracted along the way. Thw two slipped through the camp entrance and headed into the forest. Once they were all clear Stoatkit gave a merry chuckle. "Now we'll be able to save Hollykit!" The tom purred, and his brother nudged him happily. "Yeah! We'll save her and bring her back!"

Rabbitpaw purred. "Pebblepaw! Heatherpaw! Pebblepaw! Heatherpaw!" He called out happily.

pebblekit forgot her prevoius anger and her sister as she touched noses with slivertooth,her green eyes that for the past few days held nothing but icyness glowed with pride as she stood infront of the small clan - her clan, she was going to be there medicine cat someday, they were going to rely on her to heal there wounds and intercept starclans wishes. thinking about it all made her tail flick nervously but she still managed to hold her head high.
