Luke smiles as he jumps off the car nd slowly melts into the croud, giving Izzy all the fame. He was done. to much ...competition for him. he looks around and gets out of the huge group and sits in the shadows watching he sees Dutchess and saunters over and says " trust me, it's not all that great" he smiles saying " the names Luke"

Dutchess moved away from Luke a little as she tried to hide her sadness and her blood covered fur."H-Hi Im Dutchess." She said shyly.

((By the way Dutchess is a 1 month old great dane puppy who just witness her mother being murdered and her brother being taken away))

Luke smils at the pup, but soon his eyes go shock filled smelling blood.He steps foreward and sees blood over the pup. He says " ok Duchess, sweetie come over here, pleae...are you hurt? who's blood is that...where's your mother?" he asks softly not wanting to scare the small pup, she was scrany and he felt a strange compassion twards her..he wanted to help her.

Dutchess walked over to him with her tail between her legs. "I-im not hurt its my mothers blood....Mama is dead." She said looking at the gound shyly and sadly. She looked up at Luke as tears filled her eyes.

Luke's eyes go big and he says softly " your mom..."he then frowns and says " well, I don't have my mother either, I got thrown out when I was a pup because I ididn't look like my siblings, but youknow, we can stick out for each toher, k?" he then lays down and looks at Dutchess eye to eye and says " sweetie, Im here, we needd to get you washed and fed, ok?" he says not wanting to frighten the pup. baby steps he reminded himself.

Dutchess looked at him. "O-ok but im not too hungry." She muttered as she hung her head down low. She looked up at Luke and her chocolate brown eyes pierced his eye. Her puppy eyes were filled with sadness and sorrow.Her tail had been tucked under her body and her floppy ears hung sadly. The sorrow from her mother and the horror and worry for her brother haunted her.
