Asha and Mari
Asha twitched her tail and ear when the calf started drinking, and stood still and calm as she drank, pleased. She let go of the calf when she started nuzzling and poking Asha's trunk with her own. The big cow ran het trunk over the baby's small, fuzzy head. She wondered what the reason was for this calf to be put in with her and Mari, but she was sure it was not a good one.
Mari took a step and squealed; happily and a little jealous at the same time. her mother let another calf drink her milk. Did this mean something? If it did - which Mari hoped against - uthen the little elephant was too excited of a playmate to notice, or really care.
