Griffon looked around for Destiny. Where could she be? he thought to himself. The birds kinda freaking me out now.

Bliss stopped in her tracks along with her heart, her ears picked up the soft beating of paws against the ground. But no voice broke through the heavy morning air to ing in her perked ears. The owner of the pawsteps must not have caught her scent for soon they faded into the distance. But she still stayed where she was, standing in the center of a large clump of wild daisies as still as a shadowy statute. She barely breathed as she waited what felt like forever without an ambush or hearing anything but the soft songs of the birds in the canopy or the murmur of the creek. After deciding to risk it by moving, she began her journey again. Only this time she was extra cautious watching her path to make sure she made no mistakes like treading upon a downed limb or stepping on a dead leaf, anything that would alert the creatures of the forest of her presence. She was following a deer trail leading down to the creek, a dull thirst driving her forward like a shepherd drives his flock toward the pasture. If her luck held she migth even find the traces of a deer, something to quinch her rumbling stomach.

The cloud darkened in Destiny's dream. Thunder clouds rolled over the beautiful place. Her eyes stared around in worry as lightining crashed to the ground, only a 2 yards away(9 feet) She yelped and ran towards the edge of the clearing. Trees covered her, their interlocking branches shook with the thunder. She thought hard, then vanished to appear back by the creek. Her fur was slightly damp from sweat. She panted, her body shaking. She slowly stood and weakly walked back to the pack, her feet stumbling around.

Griffon shook off the creepy feeling of the birds staring at him and a familiar smell hit his nose. It was Destiny. He watched as she shakily came into the camp and he hurried over to her. "Are you alright?" he asked checking over her for any wounds. "Can i get you anything?" He asked her.

Bliss jumped onto the trunk of a lightening struck fallen tree to search for access to the other side. She trailed up the trunk trying to find a good spot to leap down from. She heaved a small sigh of defeat, plopping down on the narrowing trunk by no she was almost to the peak of the tree and still she had not found a good spot to get to the other side. She knew it was a cat-ish thing to do but she raked her dull claws against the barkless trunk below her feet leaving her narrow marks on the trunk. She stared down at the ground, debating on her chances of making it to the ground without breaking a limb or something. She growled at herself, she did not want to admit defeat. She would find a way to reach the other side. She returned to the base of the tree, climbing up the uprooted roots thickly clumped with dirt that slide free under her light weight. She peeked with curious aqua eyes over the side of the roots at the place where the roots had once held the tree up firmly. All that met her gaze was a deep hole big neough to swallow her tiny form whole plus maybe a moose. She set her jaw firmly and with a confident step back she prepared to leap the hole to reach the other side. Nothing could stop her once her mind was made up not even a charging bull moose.
