[Hehe, finally got around to typing it after I finished up some Faire stuff. ^___^]
Rumbling echoed distantly through the rolling pastures as the truck and trailer drove slowly into the parking lot of Rosemary Field Stables. It halted abruptly, not pulling into one of the many empty parking spots, and a girl emerged from the passenger's side, swiftly and silently making her way to the back of the trailer. With no hesitation she reached up to unlock it, her brunette hair blowing gracefully out behind her. The door on the driver's side then opened, and a man got out of the truck. He trudged to where the girl, called Basha, was and groggily pulled down the ramp of the trailer. She thanked him silently, with a nod of the head.
Basha waited for a second before quietly backing the first horse out of the trailer. He was a large, supple dark bay, and the girl leaned forward to stroke his muzzle, holding his lead rope securely.
"How was the ride, Tiago?" she asked the stallion, who tossed his head and whinnied in response. Basha chuckled almost inaudibly, then handed Tiago off to the man, who gladly obliged.
Even more carefully than before, she crept into the trailer and backed out the second horse, a smaller gray mare who looked almost somber. Even once she was out of the trailer, the horse still remained stationary, not looking up even when another horse trotted by. Basha bent forward to give the mare a little kiss.
"You're a good girl, Uma," she said approvingly. "So quiet and calm."
Basha looked over at the man, her father, who still stood by the vacant trailer holding Tiago, looking like he could fall asleep any second. She reached forward and took the lead rope directly out of his hand, and, with an apathetic look, he turned away and walked back to the truck. He got in and started it, only waiting for Basha to move.
Basha turned Uma and Tiago around so that they were facing the barn, a huge structure that loomed over all three of them. Then, she slowly led them forward, toward a new home.

Tiago pranced and tossed his head as his owner led him to the barn. She continued to jerk on his lead rope, muttering things like "Tiago, you're such a spaz" and "shut up already", to which the overexcited stallion paid no heed.
"My god, can't you walk faster?" He narrowed his eyes at Basha and whinnied, annoyed. This only earned him another jerk from Basha and an eye roll from Uma.
"Oh, do hush up," Uma reprimanded, using a tone a mother might use when talking to a naughty child. "You're not going to make a good impression."
Tiago snorted. "Lighten up!" He swished his dark brown tail indignantly. "You're always as serious as....something really serious!"
Uma just sighed sadly, then looked up and gasped quietly. Tiago stopped and looked up to. Ironically, so did Basha. The barn was literally right in front of them.
Bravely, the trio of both human and horse stepped into the stable.
[How was it? :3]
