Dixie walked around the barn. She snorted and walked into the barn. She laid down in front of a fan that was in the barn, because she was really hot. Her black, shiny coat attracted twice as much heat as Jerome's. She Panted heavily and snorted.

Twilight lunged, barking once before being pulled back once again. When the trio's names were called and Emily stood up, her teeth bared. "You're lucky." she snarled. Then she turned back to her normal self and followed Emily. The door closed behind them.

Emily unhooked Twilight's lead, saying hello to the nurse and explaining what needed to be done.

Jerome sat a top a tack chest, eyes lazily looking around as he panted.

Dixie rolled onto her back "why must it be so hot?" she groaned. She knew it wasn good to be too hot with puppies on the way, but Alex locked her out of the house. She kept panting, and her toungue lolled out the side of her mouth.

Rusty sat in the office and thought he jumped up and opened the door to the vets office and left "they don't want me there." he said to himself and walked back down the road in the middle of it. "I have no where to go."he sighed "i'll be better off getting hit." he looked down the road and no cars were even coming. he limped down the road back to where Emily picked him up

"My thoughts exactly." he groaned. He face-planted on the floor, not bothering to get up.

Dixie snorted "I swear... When I find the person who left the oven open, I'm gonna tear em' to shreds!" she said. She snorted and stayed on her back.

Although she's tolerant of the humans when they don't give her what she wants, she'll try and get dogs that don't treat her like a queen to lay belly-up. She's strong-willed and dominate, so it isn't as hard as it seems for her. When she's overpowered, she doesn't give up, instead pretends to and gets revenge later. She doesn't like to be bossed around, but will tolerate it.
