Apollo nodded "exactly... He's never around." he said. He flicked his tail "she can't take care of every horse here by herself..... It's impossible" he said.
"If I had thumbs then I would help... but I don't have thumbs. Do dogs really have any special duty with horses?" he wondered aloud, lifting his head from the ground.
Apollo shook his head "I don't know.... Border collies herd things... That's all I know." he said. "but people around here need to pull their weight... Especially with Julia away." he said.
Jerome completely stood up. "And since this place is basically overrun by dogs, and we clearly are the most intelligent out of both humans and horses, we should help in any way we can!" he said proudly, puffing out his chest before sitting down again.
"Horses can't be search and rescue, horses can't be bomb-dogs, horses can't attack for a living, and horses can't guard a laboratory with dangerous experiments." he replied. "I believe I've made my point- case closed." he added, scooting away so Apollo won't be tempted to kick him.
Apollo snorted "what ever. Just stay out of my way." he said. He stomped his hoof and flicked his tail. "dog's aren't man's best friend anymore!" he neighed. He threw his head, proving his point." he flicked his tail.
Apollo snorted "horse's were here waaaay before dog's were... With out horse's humans wouldn't have cars so you dog's can stick your heads out of the windows, and let you stupid tongues slap you in the face." he said.
Dixie growled and stood "geesh... Guys these days." she said padding back to the cabin "you can come get me when you two knuckleheads quit arguing." she barked. She padded back to the cabin.
