Nira snorted. She didn't like how Crimson and Thunder were just torturing the thing.
"Just put it out of it's misery!" she neighed, "Why make it suffer?"
She stomped her foot.

Crimson reared up one last time and laned on the cats neck. There was a gutwrenching crack then the cat went limp. Crimson back up, her eyes wide with fright and her shoulder throbbing.

Callista shook her mane, tensing slightly. She took a step forward, longing to help, but stopped herself. The mare snorted and watched the others.

Nira let out a breath and gave Crimson a grateful nod. She trotted up tot he mare and sniffed at her wound.
"Are you ok?" she asked.
She swished her tail and her nose wrinkled involuntarily at the sharp scent of blood.

[Frost~]

Thunder walked up to Crimson. "Good job." he nickered to the brave mare. The smell of blood engulfed him.

"Are you ok?" Nira asked Thunder. She sniffed him for blood, starting at his shoulders and moving fown to his flank. She lifted her head and looked at the two horses.
"You both were really brave." she said.

Callista quickly walked up and snorted. "Surely we can't just leave its carcass here?" she asked, beginning to get a bit creeped out by it. She smiled and looked up, agreeing with Nira, "Yeah, you were."

Crimson lowered her head then walked away, a slight limp as she took every step. She didn't like being saved. She wanted to be able to do things on her own. She walked over to a shady spot and layed down, her shoulder throbbing.

[Frost~]

Thunder nodded. "Yeah, thanks." he nickered, watching Crimson walk away. He slowly walked over to her. He could tell she was injured. "What now?" he asked the mare.

Crimson looked up at him,"What do you mean?" she asked and looked at her shoulder. She layed her head on the ground and breathed slowly.
