Hoofprints In The Sand (Semi-Lit / Open - Accepting)

Jor ate slowly, his teeth croping the lush grass short. He glanced over to Nira then to Melody, he finally had a herd. Granted, it was small, but he didn't need a large herd to be happy. He was just glad he finally had someone to live for. He made his was over to Melody and nuzzled her side then he cept eating.

Crimson munched happily on the grass in Thunder's feild. She couldn't help but wonder what JNor was doing. She loved her brother but she loved Thunder more. She couldn't leave now considering the new life that she now bare inside her. She suddenly felt a rush of warmth roll over her body like waves, she was going to have Thunder's foal! This exited her, and at the same time made her nerviouse.....Carrying Thunder's foal.....she thought, her eyes glitering with joy as the feeling set in. She was going to bring a new life into this world. A beautiful new Thunder Foal.

[Frost~]

Melody grazed at the sweet grass. She snorted as a horse
fly bit her rump. She tried to swat at it with her tail, but it flew
away before she could give it a good hit. "Dang it..." she mumbled.

Thunder nuzzled her neck. "Crimson, will you be my lead mare,
since Nira left?" he nickered, lovingly. "I know you won't leave, like she did.
I was wrong choosing her as lead mare. I always wanted you..."

Crimson lifted her head, her eyes glittered brighter,"Of course!" she nickered and rubbed her nose on his neck. She niped at his withers,"I won't leave you Thunder." she whispered in a airy, gentaly voice.

[Frost~]

"I know you won't." Thunder nickered. He brushed his nose against her side.
"Our foal will be beautiful," he nickered gentle. Thunder was happy to finally
sire a foal, with a mare he loved more than life itself.

Nira shook out her mane and laid down in the thicket. She was tired.

Delphi smiled at Crimson and Thunder. She nodded towards the black mare,
"Congratulations," she said

Crimson's skin flushed under her black pelt,"Thankyou." she said and bowed her head to Delphi. She nuzzled Thunder.

Delphi nodded and went back to grazing.

(I think I'm going to make Nira have her foal now. We've waited long enough. XD)

Crimson thought about the diference between her pelt and Thunders. They where quiet diferent and would probly cause a very odd pelt patter. Crimson didn't mind though. She leaned against Thunders, her belly felt warm.

Nira felt a shot of pain go through her belly and she grimaced slightly. She sat up a little bit and felt another one. She winced.
Am I having my foal? Now? she wondered Or is the foal just being restless?
