Jada turned on her heels when Feather whinnied. She walked into the barn and saw the beuatiful colt beside her.

Nikki rolled out of the way of the hoof, and regained her bearings. She then stood up and walked towards Skye.

Skye held her hip with one hand, it was obvious she was in pain. She quickly untacked Tee & let her in the pasture.

Feather snorted & kept moving away as the colt reached toe nurse.

"You okay?" Nikki asked her best friend in a conercend voice.

Jada smiled, but it quickly changed to a frown. "Morgan?" She called out to the barn letting herself into the stall.

"Mhhmm?" Morgan asked, stepping into the barn & toward's the stall.

Feather pinned her ears as she moved away from the colt.

Skye nodded. "I'll be fine. I've had worse. She mostly just skimmed my hip, it'll probably just be a bruise." She said, carrying Skye's tack, a slight limp in her walk.

"Okay..." Nikki siad a bit unsure. "You think you can walk back?" She asked, walking next to her and throwing a glance back at the barn.

"Feather had her foal and..." Jada let her sentance drop when Feather moved away from the colt.

"Yeah, it's just how heavy Tee's saddle is. I'll carry the bridle martingale & saddle pad you carry the saddle?" Skye asked smiling.

"And?" Morgan said, she hadn't made it to the stall yet.

Feather moved away again, pushing Jada toward's the stall wall. as the colt came again she moved, freeing Jada.

"She is not letting it nurse." Jada said her voice filled with concern. She looked over the little guy, he looked strong, but not strong enouth to not have milk soon.

Nikki nodded and took the saddle off her friends hands.

"Thanks." Skye said. Her walk improved greatly after that.

Morgan began to run towards the stall, but was careful not to startle the foal or Feather.

Feather Pinned her ears & whinnied softly at the colt, continuing to move away.

The colt pinned his ears & trotted forward, dertermind to nurse.

Jada slipped out of the stall and grabbed the halter. She slipped back in and slipped it over Feather's face clipping it to her, she would hold her still maybe giving the foal a chance to get a drink. "She took care of it all expt for the nurseing part."

Nikki walked towards the barn.

Feather snorted & tried to pull from Jada's grasp. She attempted to turn & bite the colt as it nursed. She kept her ears flat against her head.

Morgan walked in. She checked the colt. "Healthy." She said, rubbing the colts neck. "Although I don't know he'll survive in the pasture in a few days when we let them out." She said.

Skye smiled at Nikki. She heard murmers from the barn. She heard 'pasture in a few days'. She turned to Nikki & squeled. "A new foal!" She said as she put the tack away.
