((Okay, Alex's entrance. Should have done this long ago.))
Alexa Grant and Gathering Storm
Alex pulled into her new barn, Raven Claw Stables, parking lot. Her shiny silver ford pick-up truck towing her two-horse trailer. Her eye scanned the new barn. It was pretty nice. She pulled the truck and trailer into parking spot that was big enough. The teenager turned the keys, shutting off the trucks powerful engine and pulled them out the ignition. The key chain jingled as she placed it the passenger seat next to her. Alex then heard Storm’s distinct, high-pitched whinny and then moving in trailer. “I am coming big guy! chill out.” She mumbled as she un-bucked and opened the driver door. The teenager slid out of the cab and grabbed a lead rope from the front of the trailer. Storm kicked something in side of the trailer, impatiently. The gelding had been in the trailer since three in the morning and was now ready to get out. Alex grabbed the green lead rope and opened the back of the trailer. Storm turned his head as far as he could to look at her. “Get me out of here!” He squealed again. “Oh my gosh, Storm! Your going to give me a head ache!” Alex said to her vocal horse. She then walked to the front trailer and opened the side door. The gelding looked at her, the whites in his eyes showing. He did not like trailers at all!
Alex clipped the hunter green lead to his fleece-shipping halter and held onto the end as she walked to the back let the but bar down, holding him still. She then slipped through the human door in the side of the trailer and stood just in front of Storm. "Nice and easy big boy." She crooned softly and started to back him up. The 17.2 hand Oldenburg gelding sprung backwards out of the trailer. His head held high, nostrils flared. He reared into the air, pulling the lead rope out of Alex's hands. Alex learched for it. Her hands closed around the hunter green lead rope and she pulled him back down to the earth. Storm kept his head high up in air, snorting like crazy. The wind whipped a bush behind him sending him into frenzy again. He reared again, pulling Alex up a bit with him. He then landed and took off. Alex let go of the lead rope to prevent from being dragged across the yard. “Storm!” She called after the gelding “Oh, what a great first impression.” She muttered as she raced after the gelding. Thankfully the wind blew again through another bush. This made Storm spoke again. The horse wheeled around on his haunches and raced back the other way.
Alex grabbed the dangling lead rope as he whizzed past her and pulled him to a halt, by throwing his balance off. “Easy boy! Easy!” She crooned walking towards the wild-eyed gelding. He skittishly side stepped, but after a few minutes let his beloved owner get close. “That’s it boy, Easy.” Alex said gently stroking his face. “Don’t do that again. You could have got yourself hurt!” She said softly looking into his intelligent brown eyes, which were still clouded with fear. Alex looked down at his shipping wraps and then over his blanket, which had gotten wrinkled in the episode. The teenager looked back at Storm’s chocolate brown eyes. She soothed Storm by gently stroking him over and over again. “Shhhhh…….” Alex crooned in a soft voice that she only used with animals. It was kind and comforting, the closest thing it could be compared to was a mother talking to its newborn baby. Strom snorted. “Hush boy. Its okay!” Alex said softly. The gelding nuzzled her lightly fear evaporating from his eyes. “I know boy. The bush was scary.” Alex said. “Lets go into the barn and get this stuff off you. “ She then gently directed the worked up gelding towards the barn.
Alex sighed as they walked. The gelding had mainly got over his fears, but the new place had sent him over board. Plus he hated unloading backwards. The combination of the two had sent Storm back to square one again, but he would soon recover from his bought of fear. Alex knew that for a fact. The teenager glanced back at the gelding that was following her with ears pricked, head in the air, and nostrils flared.

something will go here. for now enjoy the waves.
