((We can just start, BloodBrother. ^^))
Timon stretched, lazily glancing at his brother, Falcon.
"Falcon, you're so depressing to be around!" Timon exclaimed, making the weather turn foggy, sad, and cloudy.
"Maybe that's because my power is hate." Falcon pointed out mildly.
"Good point," Timon replied. Falcon had the power to cause hatred, anger, and distrust to pop up immediately. He also could make hate go away so everyone was happy again. In other words, he could play with your emotions, as long as it had to do with hatred and anger. He could make you hate someone so much that you would end up beating them up for no good reason. Timon, on the other hand, controlled the weather.
"Let's go hunting," Timon said. "I'm hungry."
"Alright," Falcon replied. Falcon's power didn't suit him. He was an easy-going wolf, and very nice, but when he got ticked off, he put his power to excellent use. Hatred fueled your body, and the haze that filled your brain with red-hot anger made energy course through your eager body.
----------
Coraggio was prowling through the woods. He saw a beautiful young wolf, about his age, that had jet-black fur and a dark, grayish chest and belly fur. Her wings were small and midnight-black and feathery. Her eyes were ice-blue and a tuft of fur on her head was sky-blue with snow-white sparkles. Her tail fur was sky-blue and had dark-blue sparkles and white sparkles as well. Her eyes were gentle and she was singing softly, her voice sweet and lilting like a lullaby. The tune was ominous though, and in a minor scale, and her high, bird-like voice brought darkness to the woods. Suddenly, he was surrounded by a large orb of shadows. He could barely breathe, and panic filled his chest.
"Who are you?" The wolf asked, her song finished. Her voice was delicate and elven, and her eyes suspicious. It was like she could see through the shadows, which she probably could, and her voice was cruel in a beautiful way. Coraggio realized that the wolf had known he was there, and had sang the song to summon the shadows to trap him.
"I'm Coraggio," He replied. "Release me, please. I won't harm you."
"What if I don't trust you?" The wolf replied. "I should kill you, just in case. Better safe than sorry!" The shadows grew thicker, and Coraggio couldn't see anything at all. He had seen faint outlines before, but now that the shadows grew darker and more numerous and thicker, he couldn't see anything at all except for darkness.
Coraggio then remembered his power. Summoning all of his energy, he concentrated on an image of the pretty young wolf in his mind. He made her love him with all of her heart. He made her feel like she couldn't live without him, and he made her feel like he was her whole happiness in life. Suddenly, the shadows disappeared. The wolf stepped forward. Her eyes were filled with gentle compassion and a love so strong it stunned Coraggio that his power was so strong.
"I'm sorry," The wolf whispered. "My name is Moonlight. I can control the darkness and the shadows." She stepped even closer. She smelled like juniper and roses and of the crisp coolness of midnight and the stars and moon. Her breath was warm against his cheek, and she smiled hesitantly. Her breath was minty and fresh, and there was a slight hint of the perfume of flowers in her breath.
"Like I said, I'm Coraggio. I have the power of love."
"Love...?" Moonlight hesitated for a moment, as if suspicious. Coraggio willed the love for him to grow even stronger, and Moonlight's suspicion went away immediately. Coraggio was a little overwhelmed, and he looked at Moonlight. Her beautiful face was pure and loving. Shadows swirled around her paws, marring the image. She would be like an angel except for her dark fur and the shadows crowding around her body.
"I should get going..." Coraggio said, preparing to remove the love. Moonlight looked up sadly, and said, "I've been alone. I lost my sister, Sunlight, and I've been traveling by myself for quite some time. Sunlight and I were seperated in a forest fire in a different forest. I escaped the fire and managed to struggle over here to this new forest, but I don't know if Sunlight survived..." She blinked sadly. "Only the shadows have been my company. May I please travel with you?"
Coraggio felt pity grow in his heart. "Ok,"
Moonlight's eyes were glowing with happiness again, and she got to her paws. The shadows shifted around her, and her eyes were gentle. The shadows stayed next to her, covering her paws so that you couldn't see them. She stepped forward, her tail curling up over her back. She brushed past Coraggio and the fur along his spine shivered from the touch. He didn't know why. Moonlight walked up to a deer, summoning shadows to hide herself. The deer didn't notice the shadows. Either that, or it just didn't care about the creeping darkness. Suddenly, the shadows leapt forward and covered the doe instead of hiding Moonlight. She leaped gracefully onto the blinded doe, and bit its neck quickly. The shadows dragged the deer to the ground where it died quickly from the neck wound. The shadows sank into the ground, and Moonlight looked a little tired from controlling the shadows.
"Hungry?" She asked.
