Alex whirled around, after the wolf had nipped her leg, she saw the wolf laying there, since Starlight had attacked it.
Another wolf crept out of the bushes, Alex whinnied shrilly and struck at that wolf, her front hooves knocking it in the head, causing it to whimper, but not retreat.

- Spark -
Spark saw another wolf, she hated wolves with a burning passion, she snorted and pinned the wolf down, it struggled under her weight, but was unable to get up. The wolf nipped at her legs, to the best of it's ability, she was planning to kill this wolf before it killed someone. Spark couldn't help her hatred for wolves, as most of her old herd was killed off by them during a time of illness.

- Dior -
"I haven't come to take you to a herd, or anything like that, trust me." he said to Delta, his ears flicking back as he heard some shrill whinnies from a distance, but he could still hear them.
He took a few steps foreward into the shade of a tall tree, then lowered his head to graze, flicking away flies with his long ebony tail.

Starlight stomped on the injured wolf's head, killing it, for she could stand the sight of it alive no longer. She saw Shock fighting another wolf, and decided she would help, but as soon as she made her way over, another wolf jumped out from the bushes. This was the last wolf. It was the strongest of the three. It jumped on Starlight's back, and so she tried spinning in circles to get the wolf off like she did with the other one, but the wolf still held on. She reared up, but her feet slid out from under her body and she went crashing down on her back. She wolf was killed instantly by the weight of Starlight coming down on it. She got up quickly, without any injuries except claw marks on her somewhat sore back from the hard fall. She shook her mane, and looked around for any more wolves that might attack, but there were none.

Trinket reared and whinnied. "Starlight! Are you okay? That thing was huge!" His chocolate brown eyes had widened so the whites were exposed. He sniffed the fresh carcass, intruiged and disgusted at the same time. "It smells so... wrong. Like a killer. And it came from a big group- not far away, maybe over that big hill. Errgh, I don't want to meet another one of these anytime soon."
Phantom heard the fight and the wolves, and galloped towards the source- and her foal. When she arrived, she immediatly nuzzled Trinket. "Baby! Are you okay?" Then she saw the final wolf, with Spark fighting hard. She was determined not to lose her only colt to a carnivorous monster. The mare trotted to the scene, and quickly knocked a mist-grey hoof at the beast's head, trying to avoid the razor-sharp teeth. It whimpered, but it certainly wasn't dead. Suddenly, the thing lunged and snapped. The equine backed up, but not fast enough; the long, white teeth scraped her flank, leaving four bloody gashes. A few foul words escaped her mouth as she tried to run away.

Crimewave heared the ruckus and came galloping over the hill. She couldn't stand wolves.....let alone these particular wolves. Grey Wolves were nasty creatures all though humans seemed to love them for some reason. There was no way she was going to let a foal become this one's dinner if she could help it. The dark bay mare raced towards Phantom getting between her and the wolf. She reared and neighed clearly angry. Crimewave tossed her mane and shook her head making her look wilder then she really was.

"I'm fine, but the important thing is that you're okay. Stay here," she said to Trinket, and then rushed over to fight the last wolf, which was not yet killed. She turned on her haunches and kicked out at the wolf with her back legs, making blood rush out of the wolf's mouth. She reared up and landed on its tail, sending it off into the woods with a whimper. She snorted triumphantly, and then trotted over to Phantom. "Are you okay?" she asked. "My mother taught me when I was little how to cure wounds, so I would be able to help you, if you want," she said, noticing the gashes on Phantom's flank.

"Sure," grumbled Phantom. "But I shouldn't have been so careless. Stupid creatures, those wolves." Her even voice gave no indication that she was in pain, but her eyes betrayed her. She winced as a fly landed on the first cut, her muscles bunching slightly under her grey and white pelt.

Crimewave looked over Phantom eyeing her doubtfully. She wasn't dimwhitted and could tell that the other mare was in some kind of pain. Snorting Crimewave trotted over to stand beside Phantom. "Fine? Any horse can tell your in some kind of pain you know. You better take care of that before it gets worse.", Crimewave said.

((Oh, FYI, wolfrunner, this isn't what I really think of Crimewave. It's just Phantom and her grouchiness! So please don't take it personally.))

Trinket trotted over as Crimewave was speaking, looking at his mother with concern.

"Shut up, you arrogant waste of space," snapped Phantom at the other mare. "I don't want your opinion and I don't need it, either. And what about a blind horse, huh? What then, smart-aleck?" She huffed and stomped a pale hoof onto the green grass, now thoroughly angry.

"Mama! Don't talk like that. It's rude. She just wanted to help," the colt pleaded with Phantom.

"Humph. Fine, Trink, but only for you.
