Starlight sighed, "Eh, I guess I just trust other horses way too easily, even though I used to be a loner, too," She decided she wouldn't bother the mare any longer, so she sniffed the air and started walking in the direction of the creek. "Come on, Trinket," she said in a somewhat cheery voice. "You thirsty?" she asked as the walked through the lush green grass.

Chanta stood, grazing, on the edge of the herd. She munched on the grass, looking up every now and then, keeping her ears pricked. She thought she heard something in the brush nearby, but dismissed it.

Crimewave galloped over the hills relishing in the wind blowing her mane everywhere. Her tail streamed out behind her like a stream of black water. The bay mare loved running and racing the birds above her. It didn't take long for her to reach a stream and Crimewave slowed untill she eventually came to a stop. Crimewave bent her head down and started to drink from the stream.

- Dior -
"I'm not here to fight." Dior said calmly, standing his ground as a brisk wind blew his mane and tail to the side. He looked up at the sky, it appeared to be darkening. He snorted and took a few steps back, as not to intimidate the mare.
"You are quite pretty." he said with a cocky tone, after taking some more steps back.

- Shock -
Shock saw a ledge, it was high up. Perfect, no one would bother her. She began trotting through the high grass, the wind blowing her forelock in her eyes. She paused and shook the fringe of hair out of her dark brown eyes, then continued. Shock reached the top of the ledge, it overlooked a field, she could also see a forest in the distance.

- Alex -
Alex saw Shock climb up the ledge, it looked fun to be up there, high up, with the wind in your mane... Alex sighed, turning and trotting away. Shock probably didn't want to be bothered.
She perked her ears at a strange sound, it sounded like a wolf's howl. She whinnied sharply, trying to warn others.

♦ Delta ♦

Delta's ear flicked in annoyance. She couldn't tell what this stallion was doing. So she jumped to her immediate conclusion when it dealt with suspicious stallions. "You want to take me to make your own herd!" she whinnied, stamping her foot angrily and her ears pinning making it obvious she was now angry and unhappy with this stallion. He had two choices: Run, or try and take this mare with a fight. At least, in her view.

"Sure, Starlight. That sounds great; it's kinda hot out!" replied Trinket, his hooves prancing, ready to go. His dark brown ears pricked up suddenly. "Was that Alex?" He asked, nervousness entering his tone. "It sounds like something's wrong." The colt turned his head to either side, looking for anyhting that could've been a threat.

((Woah! Sorry I was gone, had school. c: But, on the brightside, five more days and school is gone!

Starlight turned on her hind legs quickly, and she saw Alex about a hundred yards away from her and Trinket, and then in between them, a medium sized wolf. She stood in front of Trinket. "Trinket, go hide, I'll protect you, and make sure the wolf doesn't hurt you. Now go hide quick, before it sees you," she whispered to Trinket, keeping an eye on the wolf at the same time. She focused her eyes on the wolf, and made no movements, as not to aggravate it. She was prepared for it to attack. She was a pretty good fighter, partly because she used to be a loner.

- Shock -
Shock looked down from the ledge she was standing on, she saw a wolf, it had it's teeth bared. She hated wolves, like most horses did. In an instant, she galloped down from the ledge, her hooves thundering agaisnt the ground. She stood slightly behind Starlight, she pinned her ears and reared, challenging the wolf, basically saying bring it on. Shock snorted before rearing up again, she didn't want any of the other horses to get killed by wolves, like her old herd, they were attacked by wolves.

- Alex -
"Wolf!" Alex whinnied, stumbling backwards a bit, then galloping over by Shock and Starlight.
She stood behind them both, she was still young, only 2 years old, she was pretty sure she couldn't fight off a wolf on her own. Nevertheless, she snorted and pawed the ground, raking up some grass and dirt.
She peeked around the older horses, the wolf was snarling. Alex shook her head and took a small leap foreward, standing in front of Shock, now.

The wolf started creeping slowly towards the horses. Starlight reared up and then snorted, indicating she was ready to fight. The wolf jumped on Starlight. She twirled around in circles, sending the wolf flying off her. The wolf hit the ground with a thud, and then got back up, and nipped at Alex's leg. Starlight rushed over to Alex, and shoved the wolf away from her. She reared up and landed hard on the wolf, injuring it very badly, but not killing it. The wolf struggled to get up, but couldn't. She glared at it, ready to kill it if it tried to attack them again.
