Ravel threw him off. "Just go back and tell little Middy (midnight) that Ravel called to see her." he said, walking away.

Midnight heard comotion and walked towards where Zelgon was. she saw Ravel and stood, frozen.
(midnight isn't with Zelgon, until that last sentence)
