Pineheart brushed his tail over Orchidleaf's shoulder. "You look tired... do you want to get some rest?"

(I may not be on for a couple of days because we're going on vacation. I'll be able to post quite often throughout three weeks - while we're away - but maybe not as frequently.)

Featherstripe looked at her apprentice and smiled slightly. She was glad Owlpaw had found a friend in the clan and cared about him so much but she would have to keep an eye out to see where this went. Her whiskers twitched as she debated what to say to her. "You're right about that, he should keep in the camp until his leg is healed. I would hate it if he developed a permanent limp." She tilted her head and looked at the dejected white cat. "Go ahead and bring him some poppy seeds and keep an eye on him for me," she smiled and sat down on her haunches as the apprentice padded out of the den to find the tom. Her tail tip twitched slightly and her eyes narrowed at the waving fronds where Owlpaw had disappeared. I trust her not to get herself into a difficult situation, she thought to herself.

Blooldeap started to smle slightly. She didn't hate him? He sighed and tried to sleep. "Well, it's amazing she doesn't hate me." he glanced at his leg. "Why did I have to fall off of the tree? just why?" he sighed, frowning. "I blame it on the bird I was trying to catch." He talked to himself. It was a bad and weird habit.

Orchidleaf sighed. "I'm fine....I've just been thinking. Didn't get much sleep." she smiled weakly up at Pineheart, flicking her tail tiredly.

Bloodleap yawned and stretched, then padded out of the den, feeling a lot better after a nap. He looked up at the setting sun and squinted. The bright beams shone on his fur, causing him to grow hot. After all, black attracts heat. He groomed his left shoulder and blinked at a mouse a few tail-lengths away. Although the urge to catch it and eat it tugged at him, he defied it and bit his lip, knowing he would get into deep trouble if he tried.
