"Okay," Hawkshadow said, lifting his paw and looking at it.

"Here, Hawkshadow." Spottedears motioned to a small pile of moss that would make up his bed. "Now if you'll excuse me. I am going to go get us some food." She said padding out of the den.

"Do you want to go hunting?" Crookedheart asked ,"The fresh kill pile is low."

There was a rustle at the entrance to the medicine den and Rabbitpaw padded in. "Um, Spottedears, when I was hunting, I bumped into a rock, so I was wondering if you had anything for fuzzy vision and headaches?" the clumsy tabby apprentice asked sheepishly.

"Sure Rabbbitpaw!" Spottedears purred even though she was almost passing out from hunger. "Fuzzy vision? No. But headaches are the cause of that! And for that I would like you to take these poppy seeds and I'll make a bed for you. And no more running into rocks!" She laughed giving the clumsy apprentice a small cuff over the ear with her tail. "Here's a bed. Now lay down and rest and tell me tomorrow if your head still hurts!" Then she padded out of the den to get some food.

"Alright! Thanks, Spottedears." Rabbitpaw curled up in the nest next to Hawkshadow, lapping the poppy seeds and almost immediately slipping into a dreamless sleep.

Sparkfoot was on her way to the medicine den with a vole and a small rabbit with her. The rabbit was for her and Hawkshadow and the vole was for Spottedear, she had figured she would be hungry and brought it with her. She was still afraid Hawkshadow didn't like her that much and was worried he didn't want to eat with her. She was deep in thought and wasn't paying attention, she crashed into Spottedear herself.

Orchidpaw dashed across the clearing. She had just heard of her brother's injury, and beige to over protective sister she was, was very worried. She was blindly into the medicine den when she was cut off by Sparkfoot and Spottedears, the two having bumped into eachother. Orchidpaw very narrowly missed tumbling into the pile up herself by rolling to a stop inches away. "Sorry. Are you ok?" she asked the older cats.

Sparkfoot laughed lightly at the apprentice.
"Yes I'm fine! Now go see whatever it was you were going to see. And I expect that would be your litter mate, Rabbitpaw? I saw him go inside the medicine den." Sparkfoot said pointing her nose to the den and flicking her red tail.

Orchidpaw dipped her head. "Yes. Mouse-brained furball ran head-on into the cliff while chasing a squirrel." she rolled her eyes at her littermate's clumsiness. "But I'm still worried for him." she added quickly.
