Degrassi showed his teeth "I could protect more than you could, maybe you an ant?" he sneered. He tossed his head, throwing the mane out of his eyes "I'll show you" he hissed.

Jay snorted once again, "At least an ant moves" he sneered, taking a threatening step towards the other stallion, his ears pinned back against his skull. His eyes never left the other stallion's, ready to react at a split second's notice. He couldn't care less about the mare he was protecting, he already had a mare of his own. No, he was more intent on showing off to his mare.

Degrassi snorted "Yeah, but a rock would be too complicated for You" he sneered. He flicked his ears, ready to charge at any moment.

Jay snorted, "Ha, you're more dim witted than I thought. Rocks don't move, ants do" he said with a large grin. His whole body was tensed, ready to either charge forwards or leap sideways. He watched the other stallion closely, the grin never leaving his face.

Degrassi raised an eyebrow "True, but an ant would be too easy, a rock would be very hard, for a stallion like you" he hissed, pawing at the ground.

Boy, this stallion really is stupid Jay thought with a large grin. "I don't know what world you live in, bit one, you don't know the slightest thing about me, and two, you really are stupid to believe that a rock is harder to look after than an ant" he said, laughing the whole time he was speaking.

Thyme flattened her ears, keeping herself hidden behind the tree. She hated this whole argument, and was sure she'd never understand why stallions argued and fought so much with each other. "Can't we go?" she whispered, hoping that Degrassi had heard her over the other stallion's shouting.

Destiny snorted, coming to a stop at a small lake. She turned her head to look around, she couldn't see any other horses, and thankfully no stallions. She lowered her head to take a long drink, half closing her eyes and swishing her silky tail lazily.

Degrassi looked back, then sighed "Alright" he said, turning back. He growled "Shut up, and be a REAL stallion" he hissed, turning around, following Thyme.

Jay laughed loudly, "A real stallion would stay and fight, not leave because he's too scared" he said with a sneer. He watched as Degrassi turned to follow his mare, then looked back at his own, the grin never leaving his face.

Thyme sighed in relief when Degrassi followed after her, she rubbed her head against his shoulder, closing her eyes for a moment. She reopened them, smiling up at him and ignoring the other stallion, "Where to now?" she asked quietly.
