Savannah
Savannah lounged at the edge of the moving ocean, loving the feeling of the water on her fur. Every so often, she glanced over at Jackson and wagged her tail slightly. The alpha looked so relaxed, it put her at ease and she lowered her head into the water, snapping at the small tropical fish that danced at her paws. When she needed to breath, she lifted her head up out of the water and scanned her surroundings, looking for anything that might mean trouble. It was then that she spotted the humans Jackson was begging. "Well, there goes that option." She kept looking and soon found another family eating a few feet away from the sand. She smiled and rose out of the water. "Dakota!"
Dakota
Upong hearing his sister's voice, Dakota bounded across the sand, sending plumes of it into the air. He slid to a stop in front of her, his tail wagging wildly. "Yea 'Vannah?" His young eyes glittered with an excitement that was always there as he pawed at the sand before flinging it at his sister, laughing as it coated her wet pelt.
Savannha growled in annoyance as the thick, wet sand dripped from her coat, but she didn't pursue it any further. "It's time to get some food. See those people over there?" She pointed towards them with her nose, waiting until the pup nodded before going on. "They have food. If you go over and beg, they might give you some."
Dakota nodded excitedly and scampered across the sand to the family. When he got close enough, he slowled to a crawl, whining softly. He looked up at the youngest human, his eyes huge. He tucked his tail up between his hind legs and whined again, scooting closer. The human pup barked something that he didn't understand before throwing him a sandwich. He ate it, then whined again, looking over his shoulder at Savannah, who was laying panting in the sand. The human pup barked something again, then tossed him another sandwich. Dakota didn't eat it this time, grabbing it and running across the sand with it to give it to Savannah.
