"It might be..." Raye answered, worried. "Perhaps Shero Lina and Ken can go back the way we came to my cave, and check." Raye thought about this for a moment. "Or perhaps you could sneak your way around by hiking down this hill, which is the opposite of my cave." She waited for he friends' opinions.

Raye had now spent two days without eating. That plus her wound and not sleeping last night made her feel weak. Her legs trembled a bit. "I, um feel a bit tired, you guys can decide what to do for a meal, right? I'll go back in and rest a bit. But please don't hesitate disturbing me if you need anything," She smiled. Raye walked a bit limply inside the small damp cave and just dropped at the corner of the cave on the floor to rest. She gave a sigh of relief as she drifted into a deep sleep.

After going out to scout the area, Lina returned and looked at Shero and Ken. "Well, I didn't see anything out there." She said slowly. "If any of you want to have a look too, you can do that." Lina looked around. "Anyway, we can head out and hunt now if you wish." Lina's mouth watered at the thought of food. She peeked through the rear entrance of the cave, watching for any prey while the others made a decision.

"cough, cough," an anonymous wolf lifted his head, just enough for Lina to see it. "More wolves?" he thought. He had never trusted other wolves since he crossed paths with a bunch of Dewolves claiming they were to free all wolves from the tyrranic claw of the Dewolves. "Oh noes!" he said, poking his head back into his nest of leaves, what those creatures that are wolves' second biggest threat called "glue", and all other sticky stuff he could find. He knew he needed something to eat. That ferret could only last him a few more hours. He wished he hadn't set up camp here. Maybe they would cure his long-lasting ache for food? He hoped so, because he had eaten the ferret two whole sunrises ago.
