Cody nodded. "Okay, thanks" he said, then offered his hand for her to sniff. It suddenly occured to him that she was eating, but Ivy didn't seem to mind. She backed up a bit, buut extended her neck to sniff hsi ahnd. The mare snorted and tossed her mane, ignoring him completely now and going back to her food. Cody laughed a bit. He was energetic

Lucia grabbed her bags from the back seat as her mother pulled up at Second Chance. She said goodbye and then hopped out, waving with one hand as the car trundled away. She let out a sigh; it was good to be here at last. She'd been so impatient to get here, and now she just wanted to see what she could do. She strode towards the barn, hoping that the owner would be there to help her out. She wanted to get stuck in straight away, there would be lots of chances to dump her bags and unpack later in the day.

Sadie drove to the Second Chance farm. She parked and got out slipping the keys into her pocket. She looked around at the mountain and the meadows and smiled, this was going to be fun! Sadie spotted the barn and figured someone had to be in there. She tucked a black strand of hair behind her ear and walked to the barn, glancing at the other girl.

Alex turned and looked at the girls who had just entered the barn. "Hello," She said looking over to her. "Can I help you guys with anything?" She walked towards the teenagers with a gentle smile on her face. She knew that they were probly a new workers, but wanted to make sure.

Lucia smiled at the other girl, then turned to see Alex, "Yes, I'm here to work? Help out?" She stuck her hand out to shake, "I'm Lucia, by the way." She glanced around the barn with a happy expression, she couldn't believe that she was going to be working here! Spending all day every day with horses... Such fun.

Sadie smiled, "I'm Sadie, also here to help out." She looked around at the stalls. She couldn't wait to start working with one of the horses. And this girl seemed nice. "So we each get a horse to work with?" Sadie asked, bouncing slightly on her heels with excitment.

"Good. Good." Alex said smiling. "Hmmm..." she said sizing up both girls. She then noticed one girl and offered her hand. Alex shook it and then rocked back on to the heels of her sneakers. The women was dressed in a pair of khaki shorts and a polo shirt. It was way to hot to be wairing jhodhurs and a polo. New york Junes were surprisingly hot. "Lucia I am going to have you work with Storm. Sadie, will you be okay with Rica?"

Lucia grinned and nodded, "Sounds great!" She peered down the barn, trying to work out which stall Storm was in. This was going to be amazing. No matter how hard it was, she was going to give it her best shot. "So, do we get to work straight away?" She new that she probably sounded impatient and jittery, but she wanted to get moving. Now she knew which horse she was working with, she wanted to get to know him.
