Canopy Rats - CS Rat RP [One Special Spot Open]

Lily turned her head to notice a little rat coming to greet her and ask her about the nursery, " Oh, yes, we should better go, it's still early but I want to organize some thing there" she bid goodbye on the others cordially and said to her husband "I need to talk to you later, as soon as you have a minute" and walked away slowly while talking to her companion "So, if my memory doesn't fail me your name is Ren, isn't it? Tell me, is there any news lately?" she wondered how much time had passed in the meeting..

Lily turned Ren's way and asked Ren some questions. "Yes, Mrs. Lily, if I may you call you that. My name is Ren. News? Lets see nothing much happened but the war has started between us Canopy Rats against Ground Rats. So we had to double our sentries and guards. I had to work overtime with the army so they can get better. And I think we should head towards the nursery, the kids are waiting for us."

"well, then there's not much difference with a couple hours ago" she said ironically, she had guarded the hope both sides would clear the problem before a much bigger problem came out "yes, the little rats need us" she said doubtfully "Keep repeating that to yourself -she thought- they need you now more than anyone" and then they arrived.

The nursey was quite big for some bunch of small kids, they had plenty space for running and playing around, as they usually did. Lily could see a couple of little rats coming to greet her and smiled warmly

Nunnie arrives back at the Life Tree just as the meeting is breaking up. She sees Lilly and another disappear into the nursery and knows that is is at least not too late. Where is Gilgamesh? She wonders, as she passes by a few other rats, she can easily see over their heads as she walks past, standing up on her hind legs from time to time to get a better look. It is now just past midday, and the shadows are short, even up high among the cradling bows. There are many holes dug here deep into the wood where the branches spread out in all directions from the center of the tree, creating spacious by-ways for the rats of Life Tree to travel. Nunnie passes through almost the entire row of hovels without seeing Gilgamesh and finally comes to a stop before the entrance to the meeting chambers. She pauses in front, uncertain of what to do next. Where could he be? I mean, isn't the meeting over yet? She glances into the dark hole, but can see nothing past the entry way. What do I do? I don't dare go in if they are still talking... Nunnnie squats back on her haunches, curling hr tail around her again as she waits, trying to decide what to do.

Gilgamesh snapped out of his thoughts when rats started to wander away, and realized that the meeting must have ended without him realizing. Ashamed once again, the scruffy gray rat crouched low and hurried past the others, trying to sneak out and make it look like he had left when everyone else did. He passed a forager whose name he couldn't quite recall- Nuna? Nanay?- on the way out, but didn't speak to her because she seemed to be looking for someone else.

Nunnie almost misses Gilgamesh as he hurries out of the room. Cursing quietly to herself, she hurries out into the lane to catch up with him. She inadvertently crashes into another rat, knocking him over on his side and he glares up at her, shaking a tiny little furry paw , "Watch where 'yer going, you big brute!" He yells, and Nunnie looks at him, utterly mortified. She rushes over to him, literally pick him up from the bark. "Ohmygosh... I"m so sorry!" She says, apologizing over and over again until he just leaves, completely disgusted with her. By the time this is ll over with, Gilgamesh has already passed down three holes and Nunnie has to scurry after him, this time hugging the edge of the branch to keep from bumping into anyone else. She manages to catch up to him after a few moments and asks sheepishly: "Ummm... Gilgamesh?" The large rat ducks her head a bit, somewhat embarrassed. "I-I was wondering what the assignments were for today?" Nunnie finally manages to get out, her voice trailing off to almost a whisper at the end.

Tarnac frowned slightly at the female Major General, placing her under scrutiny. How exactly had she gotten the job of an officer? The Major General acted more like a servant, bowing and apologizing for clumsiness. He held his tongue, though, wanting to focus on the task. “Sir,” He addressed the new General. “Lieutenant General Tarnac reporting for further instruction.” The soldiers would be kept busy in the next couple of weeks, months, years, however long it took for this to die down. Many of them were held in good shape but even better shape was needed if they wished to defeat the enemy. Physically, mentally, they must excel.

"Whatsallthisthen??" asks Gilgamesh again, having been yanked forcibly out of his musings for the third time that morning. "What's all this, then?" was usually the first thing that came to mind when this happened, and when he spoke those words it usually meant he hadn't been paying attention. "Oh," he said, when he saw the female rat standing next to him. "Nay- No- Ny-" He paused, trying to remember her name. "Nunnie, that's it. That is it, isn't it?" He peered at her for a second, wondering, then blinked and asked, "When did you get here? You weren't at the meeting, were you? Wait, what a silly question, of course not. Do you need something?"

Nunnie ducks her head, several times in a row as Gilgamesh talks, looking thoroughly embarrassed. She is somewhat thrilled that he remembered her name but all the same still mortified that she had to knock him out of his thoughts. Really, I mean, who am I to interrupt someone like him? "Yes s-sir... My name is Tarnung or Nunnie for short." She manages to squeak out, then has to pause to swallow before continuing. "Uh.. I was wondering, um, if there were, uh, any new assignments for today?" She asks finally, finishing the last bit in a rush. Nunnni pretends to itch her ear, just so she can look away from him and try to collect herself for a moment. Oh stop being such an idiot! Can't you even ask a simple question without tripping over your own words? She scolds herself, then looks back to him, well, actually at the ground in front of Gilgamesh, but close enough.
