"Yes sir, as you need, sir" A rush of adrenaline hit Evian as he lifted the lower side of the body from the floor, if it was not so cold and pale, Evian could swear that the she-rat had fallen asleep on the job and just needed a good rest. He had no idea if it was good to Annalisse nerves to see it, he thought, holding tightly its hind legs so that he could lift it easily but comfortably. The Colonel's wavering made him suspect that this murder was perhaps something more personal, but that could be just his imagination and he also felt sad about Sparta`s death, although he was intrigued by the idea whether his colonel would have witnessed the death ..

Annaliese stopped and let out a small squeak. She looked at Tundra, and just nodded, she would have to follow. Untangling her hands from Tundra's, Anna rushed around the clinic once more, but this time grabbing her emergency supplies, once she was finished she gestured to Tundra to lead the way.

Lily ran back to the royal chambers, pretty sure she had waken up everybody, "I really hope everything is ok" she kept thinking over and over as she managed to pass through the branches, breathing heavily and tired. "I cant find any general or captain to ask for help, but I am pretty sure they must already know, I bet my work is now over" she said to herself and sat at a little branch, there she could have a nice view of her environment but could hide easily in the shadows. She breathed a few times and slowly felt better, her nerves had always been weak and so much agitation had her on her limit, how where her little kids doing? She decided to go and check the nursery, even when she knew the helpers had everything under control there, that could relax her, so she looked around and breathed a few more times before going there.

((Brisa, I agree. But I think what this also needs is to get a move on with the plot. It's been nighttime with an intruder running around for the better part of a month now... I'll do my best to get it moving, but Nunnie is by no means a fighter. XD ))

Squatting outside the forager bunk house, Nunnie is starting to fall asleep sitting up. Her head nods, slipping off her paw to startle her awake. Oh! Guess I had better get back to bed... I don't want to fall asleep out here. Knowing my luck, I'd roll right out of the tree. Making her way to her feet and letting out an enormous yawn, a sudden commotion above her catches her attention. Squinting up into the darkness, she sees the figure of a rat struggling through the constantly moving branches of Wind Tree, and trying desperately to make the little jump over to Earth Tree. Who on earth could that be this time of night? And how can they possibly be so... Ungraceful? I mean, I'm no dancer, but this one look... Her thoughts are cut off as the other rat reaches the main trunk of Earth Tree and foolishly starts to run down head-first, instead of taking the descending switchback. It is not long before his rear is moving faster than his front, and the strange rat tumbles head over heels down the tree, coming to a crashing halt on the branch Nunnie is sitting on. Oh no! Poor thing! She thinks as she races over to try and help it.

Drawing nearer, Nunnie starts to notice that something is very wrong. This rat lacks the long limbs and tail of a normal canopy rat, and smells of moist earth and stone. Stopping about a foot short of the strange creature, she calls out to it tentatively. "Uh.. Hello there? Are you alright?" Rising slowly to it's feet and holding it's head in his forepaws, the rat catches sight of Nunnie. Eyes going wide at being confronted with a strange green rat that is nearly twice the size of himself, the ground rat rears up, hissing loudly at Nunnie. Startled, she jumps back just in time to avoid it's lashing fangs as it attacks. Fully uncoordinated as always, Nunnie trips over her own tail and falls over backwards. Weaponless, and seeing it's chance for escape, the ground rat runs back to the center trunk and starts climbing down again. Nunnie regains he senses just in time to see his stumpy tail disappear off the edge of her branch. What the?.. Then the realization of what she had just seen hits her and Nunnie stands back up on her feet. "Intruder! Intruder on Earth Tree!" She calls out at the top of her lungs, having no intention of trying to stop the vicious creature herself.

Gilgamesh was jolted awake by the loud cry of one of his foragers, and bolted out of his little den just in time to see a stumpy tail and think hind legs vanish over a pile of stones and down the trunk of the tree. "I'll fetch Arlsam!" he yelled to the forager, not stopping to see who it was. The farmer turned and bolted away, leaping from branch to branch until he reached to top of the tree, where the chief's den was located. Wheezing and gasping- he hadn't run so fast or hard in years- the scruffy farmer pounded on Arlsam's door.

"Well then," General Caspian said, looking Ajn-Raka up and down, "Come with me." The green rat dashed towards Arlsam's quarters. He didn't need to threaten the 'physician,' he knew that she would keep up, and if not, well, he was known for his strong bite. Caspian wasn't one for sentiment, and was unimpressed with the rat's sob-story. Nonetheless, if the rumors were true, then the Colony would be needing a new physician, and if she was so emotional, then she'd do a good job treating the injured. Finally they reached Arlsam's den, and Caspian barged in with the new rat. "Don't get too comfortable..." he warned, before sticking his head out the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of the leader so that all the shenanigans could stop.

Arlsam wandered into his chambers, just before his General rushed in.
"Whats the meaning of this?" he demanded. He was trying to devise a plan to capture the intruder, though the chances were becoming slimmer and slimmer as every moment passed. He sat down heavily. The nights events, weighing him down. He doubt he could cope with much more of this war.

Ajn-Raka blinked, before nodding firmly, rushing on all fours after the Higher in ranking mate, easily reaching his speed. When one lived in the wild, beeing fast, beeing slim and sly was necesary to survive. As she almost colided with a soldier who ran sharply past her, she just leaped up, meking him rush under her, making her jump over him, as she followed. Yet, the sounds of chaos were making her dizzy, the louid commands, to search, search and find! to capture. Ajn-Raka flicked a round ear, as she stopped in front of Arslams chambers, only being able to peek in, noticing the nervous leader. She held a grudge against him, true that, but... he needed to calm down. While the general shifted to talk to him, Ajn-Raka took in her surroundings, before opening her pouch, fishing out a small leafed package and sniffling it, before shoving it back and taking out another. Again she sniffled it, before shifting towards a low branch, placing the package down and browsing for another small package. after she found it, she looked around, pulling a small piece of holowed bark from somewhere in the quarters, just glaring at the two males to not say anything. She was busy right now. Anyway, she needed water. glancing around she noticed some morning dew and her ears perked as she noticed the dew that was about to drip down some leaves above them. slowly she stretched longly on her back legs, stretching the holowed bark out, to catch the dripping water.

As she had done so, sh hopped over back to the low branch, placing the holowed bark on and started to explain. "Your nerves are to frayed sir." she started, crunching some of the dried leaves out of her pouch after sniffling . "Your colony needs you to calm down, keep a cool head." she mixed some of ther powder from the two packages in and started to mix it with her claws. "I would prepare something better, but this should do for a short term, it will calm your nerves and make sure that your head gets clear... however, the tolls of it will be that you will be tired out slowly but surely, faster then usuall." on her backlegs she hoped towards the leader of the rats, staying calm. This was her profession. Even more important then to ensure her safety, was to ensure the health of those around her. She already guessed thatt he wouldn't trust it, so she just took a small gulp of it, raising an imaginary eyebrow. "There, not poisoned anything, now then, if you know whats good for you, you drink this sire, your rats need you now, more then before." with a stubborn expression she reached him the hollowed bark.

Arlsam spotted the intruder. "What is she doing here?" he demanded at Caspian. The filthy ground rat was to be kept locked up, so he could question her. Arlsam reeled back in disgust as this repulsing thing offered him a drink, to "calm his nerves". It had to be poison. She was trying to assassinate him. But, she drunk some of it, and mentioned no poison.

"I don't know what game your playing at, but I refuse your help. You infiltrated my colony and trespassed upon my territory. I demand you show me the respect I deserve!" and as he spoke, he lurched forward as if to strike her across the nose.

Hearing Gilgamesh yell something about Arlsam and leap away up the tree, Nunnie almost immediately turns to follow him. Oh no, you're not leaving me here by myself! Did you see that crazy thing?! Racing up the tree behind him, she doesn't gain much ground on the older rat, her size as always more of a hinderance than an advantage. Nunnie crests the last branch before Arlsam's quarters just in time to hear Gilgamesh's knock on the door. Breathing hard from the run, she walks up behind him, waiting to catch her breath before trying to speak.
