Crisis nodded to dismiss the two wolves, then padded out into the woods. Although the leaders usually stayed in their dens, Crisis wanted to do something fun for once, unlike a leader.

Melody and Cedar both dragged back their kills. Melody padded over to a stream and stuck her muzzle in it, washing the blood away.

Lycine was by a tree, digging in the ground, trying to uncover anything that she could. She heard a twig snap behind her. She turned to the side, showed her teeth, and let out a low growl.

Talak sat alone outside his den as a cold breeze gently swayed his pelt. He stood up and looked toward Crisis.
"Hello," he said calmly. "How have you been?" His black fur was now glued to his skin and his green eyes shined bright.

Shadow padded over to where Hawk was sitting. She playfully head-butted her brother on his shoulder.
"C'mon, let's go do something! I'm bored!" She complained.

Hawk grunted and stood up. "Then why don't you try relaxing for awhile?" He joked, then flicked his ears.
"Go hunting then. The pack probably needs food. I'll come too. Got nothing else to do."

Crisis looked back over her sholder at Talak. "Very good, thank you for asking. I was just about to go hunting. Care to join me?" She asked, flicking her brown ear.

Hawk lead the way as they left camp, stopping under a tall tree to scent the air.
"Deer, but faint. You smell anything?"

Shadow sniffed the air. "Hmm. Nope, besides the deer. Let's to farther into the woods to look." She said, then pushed past him and walked forward.

Talak shrugged weakly. "I rarely hunt; It's not my job, but I'll be happy to join you." The wolf stared out into the trees, already picturing a huge, tasty rabbit clinging to his jaws.

Crisis shook her head. "Oh; I forgot. Of course, I'm sorry. As a leader, I usually stay in my den unless there's an anouncement to make, or every once in a while I do a little hunting and fighting. Carry on," She replied, beginning to walk towards the thicker woods again.
