Blossom could do nothing but watch as the massive black wolf tore into the throat of her father. He screamed faintly, gurgling before falling limp. The loner threw his limp, blood stained body beside her mother's. He began to pad towards the den she was huddled in, when out from the shadows emerged a pack wolf. He quickly killed off the loner, peeking in the den. "Don't worry," he whispered in a warm voice. "I won't let anything happen to you." Slowly she scampered out from the den, a tearful wail escaping her throat as she looked at her dead parents. The pack wolf held her close like her father once had, an murmured, "Come with me. I'll take you to my pack."
