When they arrived back at camp Shasta jumped up on the big rock. She waved her tail for Ace to follow.

Ace jumped up after her. This was his first time standing on this rock. He loved the feeling of being important, having everyone's attention.

She looked up from grooming her mate as she saw
Shasta and Ace jump onto the rock. She smiled and scampered away, jumping onto her place behind Shasta. "If you don't mind, Shasta, I have some news of my own..." She looked to the sky then back at the two alphas. "Congratulations, lovebirds. The key to Shasta's heart has been found." She laughed, waiting for Shadow to jump besides her. The rock was finally full.

Shasta smiled, "Was that your news?"She asked Talu. She looked down at their pack, and smiled at how much it had grown.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, smiling. "I'm going to have pups." On the inside she was overjoyed, but she kept her cool composure on the outside. "Isn't it great?" Talu grinned and looked at her slender form, grimacing at the toll the pups would take on it. But it would all pass, and soon the joy of little wolves would sweep over the whole pack.

Ace smiled. "Three very important announcements." He said, still smiling.

"That's great!"Shasta said with a smile.Then returned to her calm self. She took a deep breath then went on with the meeting."I have two announcements. The first one is that me and Ace are now mates and he is Alpha male." She said and then paused before continuing on."The second announcement is that we have a new member of the pack, Lily." She said and flicked her tail towards Lily."She has lost her brother so if you pick up any scent or see another pup bring him here." She said. "Does anyone have anything else to say?"She asked with a small smile and looked at the wolves on the rock.

snowflake: is happy for shasta and talu then looks at the pup and smiles

hunter: looks at shasta and smiles happy for her

Ace smiled and bowed his head when Shasta mentioned they were mates. "And I am very proud to be standing up here on this rock."

Kallik grabbed a vole and ate it in a few bites. "So when are we sending out the pup?" She asked.
