Annabelle smiled, ears perked in a friendly manner.
"Pleased to meet you Auss. I'm Annabelle, or Belle for short. This here is Jake," She said, glancing at the long blakc furred male next to her, "And, Vincent." She said as Vincent was heard snapping a bone from the ribs he'd scavanged, and offered little more than a glance as a greeting. She looked back to Auss then, amber eyes bright.
"Sorry we didn't see ya, we're so used to avoiding others that we didn't catch your scent. Looks like Jake here almost had a heart attack." She said teasingly to her shy little brother.
"Hey! I wasn't scared or anything, she just surprised me is all!" He said in attempt to at least be able to seem like he could stand on all four paws on his own.
"I'm just kidding Jake, calm down." Belle said with a chuckle as he brother's tail wagged slightly.
"So, looks like you were scouting too, Auss? The humans left a good amount of food left in the trash bins over there, enough even for a dog to have a full stomach for awhile." Jake asked, looking back towards the farm house him and his siblings had come across.

Auss nodded and wagged her fluffy brown tail. "Thanks sinc'rley, Anabelle," she said, happy that the dogs hadn't attacked her. They seemed like a friendly enough bunch, especially Jake. She stole a quick glance at the large black male but then glanced towards the house. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I've been out 'ere for two 'r three days now," she said, "I try to stay aw'yfrom the 'umans, s' I don't 'ave a much reli'ble source've food. You live 'roun' 'ere?"

The brute snaps his jaws around the rats neck, killing it instantly. He begins to feed off the carcass, his thin frame shuddering at the hunger within him. Cassian lifts his blood-stained muzzle, snarling at the passing dogs, his eyes flashing malevolently.


Kariya

The hellion limbs off into the thicket, yelping as the pain in her forepaw increased. She had been shot at by a human, the bullet only grazed her paw but it still hurts. Kariya lays at the base of a willow, licking her bleeding paw with her salmon-hued tongue.

He trotted along, his black eyes fixed on nothing in particular. His ears perked ever so slightly as he heard a sound. A female, whimpering. Easy prey, if she had any on her. He shook his coat free of the morning dew, pushing himself towards the sound.
When he got to where he thought he heard it, he let out a call.
"'Ello? Anyone there?" He took a confident stepped forwards and looked down, seeing a female German shepherd who looked like she was in pain. "Name's Tal. Who're you, and why're you on my territory?"

A low snarl escapes her scarred jaws. "The name is Kariya. . The humans chased me over here. . What choice did i have?" She spat, rising to her feet steadily, her muscular torso rippling with the movement of her limbs. Kariya lifts her muzzle, baring her sharp canines. She never trusted other strays, this one is no different. If it came to a fight, she was ready.

"Look, kitten. I'm not lookin' for a fight. And if you step off've my land, I'll let you off easy. But otherwise," he snarled, a growl rumbling deep within him, "we'll do this the hard way." He snapped his jaws together, a powerful 'clack' echoing through the area.

A malevolent grin streaks across the female''s face. "Who you calling a kitten, roadkill?" She lunges, barreling into the male. Her jaws are open wide, ready to tear flesh.
