History: Cricket was born in a puppy mill. Everything there was crowded and no one seemed to care. One day she was adopted by whom she thought would be a wonderful man, but he turned deadly. Once she was a yearling, the man who claimed to love her forced her into dog fights. And though she won many of the matches, he beat her until she was numb from pain and couldn't even stand. On a hot summer night, she turned against her owner. She mauled his face and made a run for the open gate. She ran into the city, not knowing any other place and has been there since.
Personality: Cricket is cold towards others and hates to be talked down to. She holds grudges for a very long time and rarely forgets anything that happens to her. She has a sharp tongue, making her very unlikeable around the other strays. She sometimes lashes out at those who don't expect it or deserve it. Her temperament is short and she can be very hot-headed.

Cricket padded along the dark streets, her nails clicking against the pavement. Her unusual blue gaze was as hard and cold as ice shards, and just as deadly. Her tail curled over her back in an elegant swoop and her ears were erect and faced forward. She glanced down alleys for only a second, not stopping to overlook anything. She swiped her pink tongue over her battle-scarred muzzle and continued her aimless trek.
