~Minerva~
Minerva had woken up, still hungry. She sighed and nudged Sirius awake, then padded out into the forest to hunt. There was a bright white pelt in the distance; she recognized the scent of the cat who had given her food yesterday. "Hello!" she called quietly, so as not to disturb the prey. Minerva weaved through the trees towards the cat, but suddenly caught the scent of a...hare's nest? Cautiously she crept towards the scent. Yes, rabbit scent, and still fresh. Minerva hurried back to alert Sirius.
~Sirius~
Sirius yawned and wagged her tail when she heard the news about the rabbit's nest; this would feed them for a while. She loped into the forest and sniffed around to catch the scent. There! She stalked closer and poked her nose into the nest cautiously, then yelped as two teeth nipped her nose. Sirius lunged and caught something warm and furry, and pulled the struggling mother rabbit out of the nest. She was not pregnant, so her babies must have been in the nest. With a shake, she destroyed the life artery and set the dead rabbit down on the nest. The confused cries of the baby rabbits echoed in her ears. For a minute she felt pity for them, but survival took over and she killed them all with quick blows to the neck.

"I think I'll take some of the rabbits to the cats who gave us food yesterday," she meowed cautiously, "Just to say thanks." She picked up two of the rabbits and sniffed the air, picking up the white cat's scent. Her twisted paw hadn't become much better during the night, and Minerva hobbled at a three-legged run towards the white cat. "Erm, we caught some prey, lots of it, would you like some rabbit?" she called awkwardly, once she was in distance.
