"Well, so far, as I understand it, the participants are Justin, Wind, Aussie, myself because I have to attend same as you, and so far I think that's about it." Sapphiera replied, smiling at Magic.

"Alright," Magic said with a little smile, then she remembered the question she had been thinking on a litlte earlier. She hadn't really gotten a chance to ask Aussie about it but maybe Shappiera would know as well "How long as we going to be gone?" she asked, she hoped it wasn't to long, she wasn't going to be taking part in the program, just... supervising she guessed it could be called.

"Generally these things can last as short as one day to as long as four days." Sapphiera replied. "If a dog sees another that interests them, they court them, get to know them, then go back to their leaders and inform them of their decision, whether both are staying in the female's pack or whether they'll be staying in the male's pack. If they don't come to a decision, then the leaders decided, if neither can decide, then it becomes an issue of which pack needs more members." Sapphiera informed her, it was a long and tiring process when it came down to the deciding part. "It's a pain in the leaders' backsides if the two can't decide on their own." She told her, chuckling at the memory of one particular issue not too many years ago. "A year or so ago, there was one very long Mate Program. It lasted a record breaking two weeks. That was a head ache I never want to have again. You see, the female was from our pack, but the male was from Eclipse, at that time both of our packs were low on members, so the end decision was a hard one for the two of them. Me and the leader at the time bickered long and hard over which of our packs would need the members the most. In the end, the tow dogs decided to become loners so that neither packs gained anything and there would be no fight. I don't blame them at all for their decision, it was perhaps the best solution for the problem." She said. "Sorry, I have no idea why I told you about that." Sapphiera laughed at herself for monologueing.

"Oh." Magic said in reply to how long it was going to take, it was a lot faster than she thought. It wouldn't take long at all. She listened attentively to Shappiera's story, Magic found it a little sad that they ended up leaving "I guess it was to bad... Its alright, I love hearing stories." Magic said in an almost childish way, she loved to hear stories, past, present, made up, it was fun to hear them. "Thank you for your time." she said with a little bow getting back to her feet.

"No need to thank me." She told her, chuckling. "And I wouldn't worry about this Program going that long, it will more than likely last only two or four days maximum." Sapphiera informed her, hoping that her story hadn't upset Magic. She didn't seem to want to be there for the Program for very long.

"I actually have one last question; when are we leaving?" she asked, she left for one night and she had missed an entire mating program being set up. Justin and Wind, those were the only two names she really had to remember, but he memory wasn't perfect, she just kept thinking it over to herself. It shouldn't be that hard.

"In a couple of hours." Sapphiera replied with a smile. "Either I or Aussie will come and tell you when, until then, you can continue looking for more interested parties or do whatever you want around camp so that when it's time we can find you." She told her.

Aussie padded up to the alpha, "shall we go now? or wait a few more hours?"

{Yes, it's been discussed with the Love Keeper of the pack, who would've informed the alpha....but the person RP-ing the alpha doesn't seem to be RP-ing....grrrr.}

"At least one more hour, I'd like to get something to eat before we head over." Sapphiera informed Aussie. "I'd rather not hunt near their territory and get accused of anything, have you eaten yet?" She wanted to make sure that all who were going had already eaten so that there wouldn't be an issue during the trek to the Sunbather's territory.

{In RL perspective, I'm seriously going to leave the computer for a few minutes to go have lunch. }
