Vell woke to the highly annoying sound of a pup shouting. Disgusting little creatures. He was about to bark for the kid to just shut up, but quickly changed his mind after he heard what was being said. Leaving camp with Shiver..?
The dark warrior grinned in a way that could only be desribed as 'evil.'
He quickly picked himself up and bounded over to the apprentice and the pup, trying to appear concerned but failing miserably at it. "Now, where are you two going?" he questioned, a slightly mocking tone apparent in his voice.

Knight raised an eyebrow at Pan decision. Heartbreak? A beta? That was going to be a question he had to be there for. "When he's not sulking? I've never seen him not sulking." he said with a little laugh. The guy was insane, he sulked, he attempted suicide and tried to kill other people... that was about his life.

"No, I'm just neat freak." Magic said with a little smile, finally content to leave Kurama's fur alone. She was pretty sure that if she tried to groom it anymore she just might start pulling some of the hair out. "That alright?" she asked, hoping she hadn't missed anything. She hated knots, not exactly sure why, it was just a pet peve of her's. She tried to focus more on what they were talking about. She knew they would still be able to spend plenty of time together, they couldn't be working all hours of the day and night.

Quicklink nodded laughing through as mouthfull of deer. "YEs always thinking of the good of the pack.", he agreed.

Honey looked at Vell and shrunk back a little closer to Shiver. "We are going out of camp...to hunt or something. Azura said it was okay..."

{Sorry I didn't RP yesterday, I was suffering from a minor heartbreak. Anyway, I've rebounded back up today and I'll try to RP back to everything. XD By the way Red, in your post with Vell, it brought me in mind of Scar from The Lion King. }

Shiver stepped forward, he was older than Vell, even though he was still tiny like a pup, he was still older and he wouldn't let this warrior boss him and Honey around like he was better than them. "We're going hunting, Vell, that's it." He told him, giving him a hard look that was challenging. "I had no intention to take her very far outside of the pack's camp and besides, we got permission from her mother." He said, knowing that was probably not going to help their case at all. Vell could easily argue that Azura was a newcomer and didn't know all of the rules of the pack and why they were what they were and therefore had no right to allow them to do this. "But if it makes you happy or more at ease," and leave us alone He added internally, quickly gazing about camp for a warrior other than Vell who wasn't doing anything. "We'll ask a warrior to accompany us." He hoped from the bottom of his very bones that Vell would not offer his services.

Kurama looked back at his pelt and nodded with satisfaction. "Yup, perfect my dear." He told her, smiling as he got up and turned around to look at his mate and lick her on the cheek. "Now I insist upon returning the favor." He said, pulling away from her cheek to pad behind her, giving her some time to argue or pull away if she didn't want to.

"Indeed." Justin replied over the leg of the deer carcass that he held in his mouth. Fools. He thought. You really shouldn't be thinking of the pack while you're spending time alone together.

Ahah, now that you mention it; he does seem a bit like Scar. xD]

Pangaea tried to ignore Knight's negative response to her choice, and smiled slightly nervously as she continued walking. "I've seen him not sulking," she said quietly, voice slightly distant. "I've seen him not sulking quite often, and I want to keep it that way. You are entitled to your opinions about him, of course; but when he's treated properly, he's even more suited to be a leader than I am."

{No, it's alright. Shiver is still an apprentice, mostly because his mentor...er "died" so he's waiting for the alpha to appoint a new mentor to him. Even though I've removed the alpha because the person who played them has been inactive. So Shiver is at a dead end really. Plus he's a PPS so he stays tiny. XD See, I told you he was sounding a lot like Scar. }

Magic didn't draw away, she didn't mind. It was rather nice he was willing to help groom her. She shook off a little more of the water in her pelt, trying to get it relatively clean herself. "I wonder if the pack has found our little gift yet." she wondered aloud, she hoped they had found it or would soon. It would start attracting flies and other animals, that wouldn't be too good. She hoped they liked it... She wasn't supposed to be thinking of the pack right now. She could think about them well she dealt with all their problems. Right now it was just her and Kurama.

Knight continued to look astonished and slightly worried. Heartbreak a good leader. Sure he might be good when in a good mode but if something bad happened things could take a drastic turn. Knight had been around the guys sister and the two were very much a like. "I'd be careful around him if I were you. More than half my encounters with him involved a lot of violence." he gave a little chuckle. He sucked at attacking, most of the time it was him who got the crap beat out of him.

{It's not like I had a boyfriend who broke up with me or something, mostly because I don't have one. XD I asked a guy who I had a major crush on to Senior Ball and he told me that he wasn't going to Senior Ball and then thanked me for the rose I'd sent him for Valentine's and told me it was very nice and that he like it. XD I cried because even though I had completely expected this answer, it still broke my heart. I heard from a friend today that a lot of people aren't going because it's crazy expensive, first week of sales is $70 or $80, the following week is $80 or $90. Even then there are only a limited number of spots available. This made me concerned that maybe the reason he said he wasn't going was because of money, which if I'd bothered to ask him why, I'd have told him that money wouldn't be an issue 'cuz my parents are super traditional and believe the asker should pay for things and since that was me, it'd be them. XD Anyway, enough of me spamming the RP with my life issues. XD}

Kurama chuckled as Magic had shaken some of the water off of herself, pelting him with some water droplets. "I'm sure they have, they're probably gorging themselves on it as we speak." He told her, still chuckling. He sat down and got comfortable before starting to groom his mate. Her coat didn't really need it, so he just combed through it to give it some sort of order after she had shaken her herself.

Maybe you're making the wrong choices. With everything regarding this warrior. Maybe he really isn't what he seems to be.
