Sapphiera realized, rather belattedly that her beta was still standing guard outside of the camp. Fool.She thought harshly. She regretted having made him her beta, he took his job far too seriously. He needed to loosen up. She turned to her brother, Justin. "Justin, could you go tell Quicklink that he can stop standing guard. The pack is safe and he can rest."
"Certainly Sapph." He said, using his old nickname for her. She smiled. She hadn't heard him call her that in such a long time.
"Thank you Justin." She said, padding off to her den to go to sleep.

Justin watched her leave and then swiftly padded over to Quicklink. "Hey, Quick!" He barked as he came over to him. "Sapphiera said you can loosen up and get some rest." He told him.

{Okay Sijach, Merry/Happy Christmas/Eve to you as well! I don't know how much I'll be on tomorrow either. I'm hitting the hay soon. }

Pangaea nodded absently as she watched the medicine dog go about his preparations. "Thanks. Make sure to pack for yourself as well, since you're coming too," she said. "And ... no. I honestly have no idea as to who I should choose. I had thought that I would have many more years before I would have to make that choice."
It was ... suprisingly nice to talk with him. Unlike Heartbreak, he was stable, more or less. Not as weak and depressing.
Did I really love him, or was I just trying to care for him because I pitied him?
Regardless, that was in the past. This was the present, and she had more important things to worry about- like choosing a beta.

Knight gave a little chuckle when she said to pack for himself, the thought that came into his head was amusing "Watch as this is the one time someone gets hurt... Not saying that I like people to get hurt but something to do now and then, a cold, would be nice." he said, walking over to grab a couple herbs from the other side of the den, "You always think you have so much time then poof it's gone, snatched from right under your nose. I'm sure you'll think of someone though. Always remember: strength of the mind is stronger than strength of the body." he stated, now he sounded old... or like Heartbreak... old was the way he liked to put it. "I'm turning into Phantom." he added with another little chuckle, he didn't like to take things seriously, the world had some many things you could cry and be bitter over, he didn't need to go looking for them, in fact he tried to avoid them.

Quicklink sighed and relaxed a little bit. He looked at Justin,"Thanks Justin. I guess Luna Sapphiera is right...I really do need to loosen up. I'm just worried about this whole human thing." The Beta sighed and headed for his den to rest. The male layed down and rested his head on his paw, 'She must think I'm a fool! How can I tell her my feelings if I keep acting like a worried idiot all the time?!'

"Yes well she is nearly old enough to be in training as a fighter....I was going to train her myself here.", said Azura but she licked the pupsmhead,"My name is Azura...Eclipse Love-Keeper. This adventurous pup is my daughter Honeysuckle Flowers.", introduced Azura. "You can call me Honey!", yipped Honey happily.

Soothsayer arrived back at the Sunbather camp and streached. She thought that the Mating Program had gone well and the female headed for her den. Sure she came out of it without a mate, but that didn't bother the female. She had made a new friend in Magic after all.

Magic gave a little smile, "I'm sure the cat would have been nice to meet if he wasn't bearing such bad news." she said gently, she didn't know what cats were like, she had only watched the bobcat, walk by her, she had been a little to scared to talk to it, but she had been just a pup... though she doubted she would go anywhere near a bobcat now either. "Anyway, I say again, you and Quicklink have been guarding the camp for the past couple weeks, get some rest." she doubted he had gotten much, if any during the time they had been gone, two dogs guarding the entire territory was a lot to do.

"Oh, alright, but only if you'll accompany me." He replied in a whimsical way, a smile lit his face and his eyes.

Justin nodded. "You're welcome." He replied, watching Quicklink as he went off. He wondered if the sigh was one of relief or one of something else. He didn't quite trust Quicklink as he knew he ought to trust his beta, but there was something about him that set him ill at ease.

Sapphiera knew the instant she was face to face with the dog in front of her that she must be asleep and that she must be visiting the Twilight Pack. "Luna Sapphiera." The dog greeted her, bowing his head in respect. She hadn't expected a dog from the heavenly Twilight Pack to bow to her, she was nothing in comparisson to their seniority. "May I ask what brings you to walk here Sapphiera amidst dreams?" He inquired.
"I have a problem and I need help, but I suppose you of Twilight Pack already know of our problem." She said, watching the ghostly dog closely for his reaction.
"Do we?" He asked vaguely.Of course not, they couldn't just tell you they knew.
"There are humans coming to the Moonchaser territory to tear down the forest and build homes there." She told him, fuguring it'd be easier to tell than to pry. "What should we do?" She asked in a pleading voice.
"Whatever you believe to be the right course of action." The dog replied in a seemingly uncaring and disinterested way like this was some trifle that was of no concern or immediate interest.
"But I don't know what to do, that's why I came here." She told him.
"We'll discuss it, but in the meantime I suggest you think of your own courses of action to take." He told her and before she could say anything else, the dream faded away and the spirit dog with it and she drifted into a dreamless sleep.

Magic beamed "Of course." she said happily, getting up and licking Kurama's muzzle. He was sweet, they hadn't seen each other in weeks, she couldn't deny him a little rest. She knew she should be here in case anyone needed her help and after the mating program there might be a couple people who wanted to head back to Sunbather she would have to deal with, but for now no one was stopping by. "Come on." she said little nudging him towards her den.

"I know you might be busy, but I hope this isn't too much to ask. i just want to be able to see your face before I go to sleep tonight, I haven't seen for awhile and I missed it." He admitted, feeling guilty and embarassed at having actually voiced it.
