Magic's ever present smile completely faded. Humans in their forest. They would tear down all the trees, catch all the dogs and ship them off to who knew where. Not somewhere together that was for sure. She had finally found a place where she could be happy; she had the job she'd been searching for, the brother she was always worrying about about a days walk away, amazing friends and then Kurama. "You should tell Sapphiera. She would know what to do." Magic said, padding over to the alpha and hoping they wouldn't be interrupting an important discussion between her and the Sunbather Beta.

Pangaea had been watching the mingling dogs with a quiet kind of curiosity about her until Sapphiera spoke again. Dragging her thoughts back to the present conversation, she blinked a few times and then smiled genuinely. "Sunbather has been doing well, thanks. We still haven't grown in numbers, as you can see; but that's a problem that it seems like we're all facing. Hopefully this," she said, gesturing with a paw out into the camp, "will help both of our packs with that."
Suddenly, registering the presence of another behind her, she turned, eyes brightening at the sight of her friend. She got halfway to her paws, unsure if she should greet the warrior or ignore him in the presence of the warrior, but her mind was made up when Magic approached. Not wanting to intrude, she dipped her head to the lovekeeper and alpha, and moved backward a few paces to sit beside Heartbreak. Smiling gently at him, she leaned over slightly to lightly touch her muzzle to his cheek in a silent greeting.

Heartbreak gave a little smile, feeling his cheeks heat up when Pan's muzzled touched his cheek. "Where's Dare?" he asked, remembering that it was the alphas that were supposed to meet though Pan seemed even more interested in the pack than Dare did, mind Heartbreak didn't really pay much attention to his commanders most of the time though that's not really how he thought about Pan. He looked quickly over to his sister, giving a nod of hello. Magic's eyes seemed only to quickly glance the two's way before they turned back to the Moonchaser Alpha, there was an unnaturally grave look on his sisters face... Heartbreak could and would ask about it later, who knew how occupied Pan might be in the next couple days of the program.

Quicklink looked up Sapphiera and dipped his head to her and Pan. "Forgive the intrusion, but I need to talk to Luna Sapphiera about an impportent matter."

Soothsayer looked around at the other wolves. Her maroon fur seeming blackin the dark.

Sapphiera looked over at her beta and dipped her head to him as a sign that she would speak to him briefly. "Excuse me Pan, I'll be right back." She said, dipping her head respectfully and apologetically at the Sunbather beta. She padded out of Pan's hearing range and then turned to look at her beta. "What's the matter Quicklink? Why did you leave Kurama alone to guard the camp?" She asked, she was worried about Kurama, she knew he was strong and brave, but she knew that no dog alive could fight off several dogs from another pack who wished to invade the territory.

"Because it was Kurama that told me humans were coming to our forest soon. He also said we have time to prepare before their arrival.", explained Quicklink.

Sapphiera looked at Quicklink with a pokerface, not giving her emotions away. If the leader of the pack showed concern or fear, all members of the pack would become afraid. "How long do we have?" She asked.

"Not sure. Maybe a few weeks." , replied Quicklink.

"Perhaps you ought to have gotten all of the information before rushing over." Sapphiera said, chuckling slightly at her beta's hastiness. "Thank you for informing me, I will make sure this ends quick enough so that we may be able to do something about this issue. Please return and help Kurama guard the camp in the meanttime." She said, watching her beta carefully.

Quicklink nodded and ran off to camp again.
