Sweetleaf raised her raven-black muzzle and sniffed the air. She ran lightly, and found a lone deer. It was pretty young, so she left it alone. Best to leave it to grow up, and it may have fawns of its own. Pretty soon, she found a deer. She leaped onto its back and bit into its neck quickly. Better to make it quick. She had ignored her wings the entire time. It would have been easier to dive-bomb the deer, but she preferred to ground hunt.
