"Great, and I can help!" Tara takes some herbs out from behind her ear and gives it to the wolf. "Here, this'll help. What rank will I be assigned?" She said, right after Mari jumps on to Adolpha. "I cought an atopop!" Mari says, saying Antlop wrong.
Adolpha shakes her head. "I'm not much up to ingesting anything right now. But I will keep them here, for when I am a bit stronger. If you would, we need scouts. We've recently had some unpleasant experiences with the rival pack to the south. We'll need all the watchful eyes that we can get." She howls in pain as the pup jumps on her. "Not...an...antelope..." she pants, lying down. She willed her heart beat to slow and these sweats to cease.
((By the way, there is a reason Adolpha and Ratchet are ill. luvdogz and I thought it would make things interesting if the southern pack realized the alphas were down and out, and came back. Something like that. We're just going with the flow. ))
"MARI!" Tara scolds at her little sister."Sure, I'll do that. And can Mari help? She, when she was only five weeks old, took down an adult turky, by herself!" Mari stood there, looking very proud of her self.
Adolpha grits out a smile. "I'm alright. Feisty little thing, isn't she? That's pretty impressive about the turkey. Good job little one. Maybe you can teach our hunters a thing or two."
Adolpha rests her head on Ratchet's shoulders, exhaling loudly. Her eyes drift shut, and she falls into a fitful sleep, plagued with nightmares. She whines and thrashes in her sleep, panting and sweating.
Cloud sadly looks over at Forest. He looks to the healer. "Can she be helped?" he whines softly.
